Peace and tranquility, with access to many great activities.
Relax and have fun while you visit.
Spent an entire week...fantastic location, in the woods, extremely comfortable and peaceful...perfect for what I needed! Jason did everything he could to make my stay comforting...very open and inviting---even though he was out of the country (he told me way in advance that he may be called away to work and we agreed on those terms) Jason was quick to respond to my texting! Perfect way to spend a week in CT while my son attended a music camp.
Jason was an awesome host; friendly, easy to talk to and full of local information. His home is warm, inviting and very comfortable. He took time before leaving to make sure to explain how everything works, and were everything was. He is a coffee enthusiast
and taught us how to make coffee. Will come back for a longer weekend.
Jason was by far the most welcoming of our hosts. We spent the first evening talking in his kitchen. We share family histories.
He was very attentionnate to our needs and made us feel at home.
His house is simple but very nice. It's in the middle of the woods so it's very quiet at night.
Everything was tidy and clean.
Perfect spot! Perfect host! Thanks!
I went on a road trip with my best friend around New England and this place was by far the most comfortable I felt in someone else's home. He made us different types of coffee while we all shared stories. He told us about the area and what places he would recommend visiting - which we did them all and highly enjoyed ourselves. I already consider myself a pretty green person but I have been inspired to be more green. If you love nature - you will love this area. I highly recommend Jason!
Delightful place to stay. Jason was out of the area but left everything all set with excellent instructions, and helpful tips about fine restaurants and such in the area. Very responsive by phone and email. Modest house with a great kitchen and nice living room, very comfortable, clean and aesthetic. Quite comfy bed. A stone's throw from White Memorial, a huge nature preserve with lots of trails
Excellent accommodations with a caring, attentive host. I only got to chat with a little bit with Jason before he headed out for work, but I could tell he values his guests and does what he can to ensure a comfortable stay for them. The house is spacious, better in-person than the pictures, and the neighborhood is perfect for a peaceful getaway. In case you're interested in going skiing at Mohawk Mountain like I was, he can help answer any questions you have. All in all an excellent experience!
Jason was a wonderful host during my short stay with him. He and Jessica were very welcoming and thoughtful about my needs and comforts. The room is simple yet very comfortable, and their neighborhood is quiet. Its a sweet New England town with lots of hiking trails - which delicious quietude and darkness at night. Jason was very friendly and engaging, while also giving me space to rest and relax. Thank you!
