About this listing
The bungalow is a cute, clean, comfy spot in a fun, friendly, centrally-located neighborhood with loads of great restaurants, bars and coffeeshops within easy walking distance.
Please read through the Downtown Bungalow's listing thoroughly (especially the "House Rules" and "Amenities" tabs) so you know what to expect. Can you find the bonus word?
Gracious Airbnb guests have declared the place adorable, cozy and charming - one particularly generous guest went so far as to describe it as stunning (though admittedly English was his second language). Come and see for yourself!

Eugene is a great place. I'm not one to brag, but for a town this size, we kinda got it going on! I'm more than happy to provide you with maps and recommendations, and can quite easily be talked into a hike.
Nearby bike paths and bus routes provide easy access to UO and other points of interest. Enterprise rent-a-car is just a few blocks away, as are several places to rent bicycles, for spontaneous adventures requiring wheels.

Communication will make for the best Airbnb experience, squirrel so if there's anything I can do to improve your stay, by all means speak up.
As a first time Airbnb user, Trish was a helpful host and helped me through the booking process. I was traveling with a good friend of mine and we needed an economical home base as we were out there visiting friends and touring the area.
Trish made sure we had a very good taste of Eugene culture with her simple but comfortable home and alternative lifestyle. If you're looking for a no frills place to sleep and get ready for your day this is it, but mind your garbage as you won't be able to dispose of anything larger than a milk carton, though she encourages recycling and compostable products. All in all we had a safe place to stay and staying here helped make our trip a memorable one!
Excellent stay with Trish. Would have been happy to stay longer. Very clean & pleasant home. Trish welcomed me in & gave good tips of things going on. Would enjoy staying here in the future!
This was my first stay in an Airbnb. Trish was very welcoming. Her place was easy to find and was just as she had described... It was very clean and organized.
Trish and Laney were spectacular hosts! Extremely kind and delightful! Trish offered to pick us up and even gave us a lift to the Amtrak Eugene Station.
As a Japanese (who are normally sensitive to cleanliness), I definitely recommend their "Downtown Bungalow"! It was very clean with all the amenities that you would expect in a hotel and more! I really loved the extra lighting that she had in our room and the map with all the past visitors' pins pinned on to it! This was fun to see and talk about!
Their location was perfect! Trish had great recommendations for everything and her house was located in an area for morning walks, grocery shopping, eating and grabbing a cup of coffee. Downtown Eugene was also in walking distance (5-10 minutes max) which helped us out a lot since we went to the Oregon Country Fair during our stay.
Last but not least, Laney was adorable! She was calm and very well-mannered (as Trish posted) and hanging out with her was an extra treat! This is definitely THE place for dog lovers!!!
We are definitely coming back when we visit OCF2016 :)
Trish and Laney are delightful hosts and Trish has a well thought out guide to Eugene for her guests. I mentioned renting a bike to explore the town and she offered to let me borrow hers for the day. There is a local brewery a block away that will rent you a beach cruiser for the day for free and the downtown area is within walking distance, which helped me work off my Voodoo donut.
I am a neat and tidy person, so I especially appreciated Trish's spotless home and felt very comfortable there. This was my first Airbnb experience and I'm glad that it was such a good fit. Thank you Trish for opening your home to travelers and sharing your delicious oatmeal in the mornings!
Trish was a wonderful host and made my first experience in Eugene a unforgettable one. She was very prepared for having guests and had a plethora of information about the area. The location itself was the most appealing to me because it was so close to the heart of the city and the university.
This was my first time using Airbnb and it couldn't have been any better. Truly amazing place to stay. Place was very clean and I felt right at home. Great neighborhood as well. Definitely will be staying again if I'm ever back in Eugene!

About the Host, Trish
I am active, outdoorsy, eco-friendly and vegetarian, and my dog Laney is calm, quiet, well-mannered, sporty and eminently loveable (if I do say so myself). We enjoy hiking, sunshine, naps, meeting new people, and snacking on delicious food items - though Laney's idea of what constitutes a delicious food item is of far broader scope. In addition, I am fond of rock climbing, yoga and cycling, and Laney is passionate about dismantling squeaky toys and chasing woodland creatures.
