This cabin, one of nine in this small community retreat, is 100 yards from the lake front with a private dock, and on-site caretakers. 2 bedrooms, one double bed and 2 twins. Full kitchen with stove/oven, coffee pot, toaster, and seating for 4, plus 2 armchairs. Kitchen has recently been updated with brand new "tiny house" fridge/freezer, butcher-block countertop, and new sink and faucet. Provided: tableware, pots and pans, and all the basic tools you'd need to make a great meal. We also have a brand new front porch!

We now have wi-fi and pretty good cell service!

Our cabin is 3 season, unheated. We close up in the fall and re-open in early May. Vermont weather in early spring/fall can be fickle. Meaning it's cold! We bring extra blankets! :-) During hot weather, there are 3 table fans provided for air circulation.

This cabin has lake access to the 3 mile, beautiful Lake Dunmore. Nestled on the edge of the Green Mountain National Forest, down the road is the Branbury State Park. Copious hiking trails! Also, the cabin is just a few minutes from the lovely village of Brandon, the town of Middlebury, VT and a pleasant hour drive to Burlington, VT.

Parking is right outside the front door - there is room for 2 cars on the front lawn near the picnic table. Extra parking, if you have visitors drop by for the day, is just a few yards away. There is a clean convenient laundromat just down the road, at the north end of the lake.

We are LGBTQ friendly. We do NOT discriminate against anyone- we welcome all races, ethnicities, gender identities, you name it. If you're kind, you can stay here.

The entire cabin is yours, except one cabinet, where the owners store a few things. This cabinet is marked.

Everything you could possibly want in a rustic cabin! Easy access to Lake Dunmore and well situated in Addison County

The cabin was as advertised: rustic, but functional. We spent little time in the cabin, and one of the days it rained, so we couldn't really enjoy the location. Nevertheless, our stay was quite pleasant.

The cabin is very simple and rustic. The accommodations are moderate and it's important to be aware of this when visiting. Plan to bring bath towels, kitchen towels, and a cooler as the refrigerator is very small. Bring all seasonings and oil for cooking and lots of bug spray. Its quaint and fits the bill if you're looking for more than tent camping.

Just like it says, a sweet little rustic cabin in a great location. Laura gave us great info on where to eat, good deals on firewood and what to do in the area. We couldn't ask for better communication. Check in/out was super smooth. The cabin had all we needed to cook basic meals. Perfect spot for a romantic get away if you like things simple. Really a great value. We'll be back!
