Cosy apartment in a quiet but very central area. Metro is literally only 10 steps from the front door, only 3 stops to Central Station. It's also very convenient if you want to go to Heysel, with Brussels Expo and the most famous Atomium. If you need to head to the European institutions, metro will take you there in 10 minutes. Christmas market is not even a 5 minute walk!
If you prefer walking, Grand Place is merely a 15-minute walk. It's one of the most beautiful squares in the world, from there you can easily reach the museum area.
The apartment has a view on the canal. The area between the canal and the Grand Place, with the Vismet, rue Dansaert and rue de Flandre, is most famous for its designer boutiques and stylish fashion shops, edgy art galleries, but most of all its cosy restaurants and trendy bars that cater for all budgets and tasts.
The apartment is about 100 sqm and has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One with its own tub, toilet and sink, the other bedroom has its own shower and sink, with a separate toilet in the entrance hall. Spacious living and dining room, all decorated with care. Free wifi - wireless internet. The computer you see on one of the pictures, is not in the apartment anymore. Feel free to bring your own laptop.
Possibility to rent a baby bed for an extra 7 euros a night.
There is a south oriented terrace, with a table and 4 chairs for you to enjoy the sun and some nice Belgian beer. Or a cigarette if you are a smoker, because smoking is not allowed inside.
The bike station is only a two minute walk from the house. You can easily rent a bike, which you can depose in any other bike station in town. Check it out on the internet, it's called Villo. Supermarket is a 6 minute walk, but there are plenty of little grocery shops around the corner.
Check in after 2 PM, check out before 11 AM as a general rule, but depending on other bookings I can be flexible. Which means you can deposit your luggage when you arrive at 9 in the morning, but the appartment might not be ready untill 2PM. It could mean as well that you can check out at 6 at night if that suits you well, if there are no other guests arriving that night.
There is a parking lot in the building. Ask me for availability and prices.

I loved this apartment! I could easily live there forever. Hans was a great host and the apartment had everything. Having the metro right outside was perfect. I will recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Brussels.
The apartment is an excellent location - right by the Compte de Flandre Metro and a short walk into town. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay, including a cot for our 9 month old baby to sleep in. The weather was great during our 4 days in Brussels and the apartment was very light and airy.
Hans was a great host - waiting for our arrival and gave us a few tips for lunch. The TV/internet wasn't working when we arrived at 4pm but Hans went and got parts and fixed it by 9pm.
Would go back if we return to Brussels and would recommend the apartment to others!
An excellent apartment in a very convenient location. Hans was very nice and helpful, always responsive. The apartment is spacious with two bedrooms, one with a full bathroom and the other with a shower. There is another 1/2 bathroom making it very convenient for larger parties (we were 5). The apartment is located right beside the metro making it very easy to get to/from the gare centrale and subsequently the airport. The Grand Place is about a 15 minute walk along a very nice street with shops and restaurants. I would strongly recommend Hans and his apartment, thank you for accommodating us.
Thanks to the host!
Wonderful place to stay. Clean, open and welcoming. Wonderful communication with host. Easy access to all key parts of the city. A wonderful place to stay and we hope to stay again!
Thank you Hans, a wonderful host!
We are very very happy for having chosen this apartment. Hans is a very warm person and an amazing host. He is very helpful and careful. The apartment is very comfortable and perfectly equipped. It makes you feel at home. It has a great variety of books and guides to travel and he also makes good recommendations. Besides, it has a set of board games to have fun. Finally, the apartment is very close to the main attractions but if you don’t want to walk the subway is in front of the entrance door. Thank you very much, Hans! We hope we can come back!
We stayed here with three kids and enjoyed our time very much. Huge living area great for big families or parties. Everything you need in kitchen. Close to center, conveniently located to get easily to atomium and everything else you want to see. Would come back any time. Hans and his friend were very helpful and friendly!
Great stay. Location was very convenient and I couldn't have asked for more in the apartment. Hans was also a great host. Will look to book again the next time I'm in Brussels.
My colleague and I stayed at Hans' place for 4 days in January and found it very nice, spacious and very conveniently located. Hans has been great at communicating with us before, during and after our stay, accommodating regarding our slight change of plans and arrival times and helpful with instructions and suggestions, including those for places to eat. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would stay at this apartment again when in Brussels.
I loved this apartment!
The decor was retro and very stylish, whilst also very clean, secure, warm and quiet. It is also right next door to the canal exit of the metro station.
There is a lift up to the 3rd floor, so no humping bags up stairs. Plus there is outside space with a view of the canal...and even the spire of the Grand Place in the distance.
If you fancy walking into the city centre it is a very short walk; in fact, as you walk into town you will pass either the bars and restaurants on Rue de Flandre or the shops of Rue Antoine Dansaert.
I could happily have stayed here forever!
