The Space

This house is a short bike ride to everywhere in Bend, yet it is also tucked away in a quiet, safe little neighborhood. We are a 10 min bike ride to the start of the East side mountain bike trails (which are great even in the winter and give access to the many caves), a 10 min ride to the Old Mill and river, a 15 min ride to downtown, a 45 min drive to Smith Rocks and a short 25 min drive up to the mountain. And last but NOT least- we in biking distance to many of the breweries in town. As for the house, we have a pot belly wood stove, a cute fully equipped kitchen, 2 private bedrooms (one with a proper queen temperpedic bed and one with a full temperpedic bed) and a pullout futon, as well as a yoga room. We have wireless and a washer and dryer for your use- and we have three commuter bikes for your use as well!

We love our home, and hope that you will enjoy it as well. What ever your adventure is we can help you by putting out guide books, and maps. If we are here while you are visiting, we can offer our knowledge of the area first hand!

  • A little way out of town in a cute, quiet neighbourhood. Chelsey and Jason's home was very spacious, clean and was full of personality! Loved their sense of adventure and beautiful travel and yoga photos. Easy communication, everything as described. Close to some really cool restaurants and shops...just wish we had more time!

  • We had a wonderful stay. Chelsey and Jason happened to be in town the weekend we visited, but they upheld our reservation and were very accommodating--they spent the night at a friend's house. Cozy home with comfy beds. They also provided us with 4 functional bikes, which we used to attend a concert at the amphitheater. They provided great care and attention to detail and were very proactive and communicative prior to our visit. Overall, great experience and excellent hosts.

  • This place was the perfect jumping off point during a recent climbing trip to Smith Rocks. Full of funky character and inspiring energy, this place couldn't have been more inviting. Chelsey and Jason were thorough and prompt in their communications and made us feel right at home in their space. Also the yoga room was an awesome touch!

  • House is in a great location only a few minutes from town. We were there on a brewery tour and hiking vacation we also happened to be there durning Summerfest. was great to be able to party all night and than go to the house away from the noise of Siummerfest

  • This was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway to Bend, Oregon. Clean, cozy, and not too far from downtown (only 3 or so miles out, though unfortunately the walk lacked some pedestrian friendly streets), this was a nice base to call home. The kitchen especially great; it was very bright and open with ample counter space, and allowed us to save extra money by preparing most breakfasts there. Thanks so much Chelsey and Jason!

  • A very peaceful stay!
The home is located in a quiet area just about 10 minutes from downtown and the Old Mill district. It's clean, peaceful and has all the maps and books you'd need to plan proper hiking, climbing or adventuring outings in Bend. They also provide bikes, which is a great way to see the town.

  • This was a wonderful alternative to the downtown hotel scene. The house was cozy and filled with lots of creative touches. It was a wonderful place to come home to after our days adventuring at Smith Rock.
