My beautiful GDR style apartment is located in the very centre of Berlin's bustling district Mitte between Hackescher Markt and Rosenthaler Platz. The apartment is quit, spacious and bright with a loggia facing south and a great view to Berlin TV-Tower.
The flat is furnished in a stylish and minimalistic way, while being very comfortable and fully functional at the same time. It comes with all amenities including a fully equipped kitchen.
The room to rent is approx. 13 square meters and comes with a clothes rail, a chair and a double bed that sleeps two people very comfortably.
You will share the apartment with my lovely flatmate Judith, who is out and about most of the time.
For an extra 5 Euro per day the room can be rent by two people.
Towels and bed linen will be provided.
You will have access to the other rooms in the flat such as the living- and dining room, bathroom, kitchen, and the balcony, which are shared with my flatmate and that you are welcome to use, too.
Further, you can use the washing machine as well as the WLAN.
Interaction with Guests
In most cases, I am traveling myself, which is why I am renting out my vacant room then. However, my flatmate Judith will be present and is happy to help with any problems and answer all questions you might have in person.
In the hip area around Rosenthaler Platz you will find plenty of great bars and restaurants as well as cool shops and nice little cafes.
Also touristic attractions such as Brandenburg Gate / Unter den Linden, the Museums Island, or Alexanderplatz are in walking distance and very easy to reach.
Lively Berlin is right at your feet!
Nearby train stations:
Rosenthaler Platz (U8) ~ 2-3 min walking
Hackescher Markt (S5, S7, S75) ~ 5 min walking
Oranienburger Tor (U6 & S1, S2, S25) ~ 7 min walking
Plus there are several buses, trams and night buses in close vicinity to the flat.
I would like you to enjoy and respect the room and the flat as if it was yours. It is not a hotel, it is a home - for me and for you during your stay.
It is a nice gesture if you take off your shoes in the apartment, but it is no obligation.
Please respect the neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum after 10pm.
Please take care to not damage any of the amenities that are available and please note that smoking is allowed on the balcony, but not in the flat itself.
Something I really like to raise your awareness for is the topic of downloading any illegal material from the internet, such as copyright movies or music - as Germany is very strict about this matter and illegal downloads may lead to heavy fines, I would kindly like to ask you to refrain from any illegal downloading!
But most importantly: Enjoy your stay!!!
The room and apartment is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. It was clean and inviting and a great place to base ourselves for the weekend as we explored Berlin. The neighbourhood is wonderful with lots going on and easy transport options to get around the city. Julia left us a welcome note with wifi password and and few other essentials and Judith was a nice flatmate for the weekend.
Great apartment, great location (for sight seeing and culinary trips) and great host. One will hardly find a better location.
Sehr zentral gelegene Wohnung und trotzdem ruhig. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten die 3 Tage in Berlin wirklich genießen.
Julie made me feel welcome and guide me via email to the keys at the corner restaurant. The neighborhood is clean and near Rosenthalstrasse and some good restaurants.
Julia's appartment is bright, confortable and very well located, not far from the Museuminsel. The place was clean and elegantly furnished. We had a really great time there ! Highly recommended ! Thanks Julia and Judith for all the good advice which made us have a great stay !
Judith was a nice and very hospitable host, although we did not see much of her during our stay. The apartment is clean and cosy, and has an ideal location in central Berlin / Mitte. Would definitely stay there again!
I am Julia and I rent out my room in my (and my lovely flatmate's) apartment in the center of Berlin. I'm the Leading Editor for a German Online Fashion Magazine. I love to travel, cook, eat, work out and hang out with friends.
