We highly recommend the place. We had a wonderful stay. Being a block away from the beach and waking up to seagulls was priceless. Could park for free in front of the house for the whole weekend. The apartment is very convenient, and, although not new, everything worked, which is rare on Airbnb. Thanks to Colette for the amazing greeting on our arrival.
I was delighted to discover that this apartment is in a very beautiful historical building. The living room is very sunny and bright; the large windows open out onto the balcony and we were able to scoot chairs out and have wine in the fresh sea air. The neighborhood is entirely made up of charming old Normand architecture, it seemed to be the prettiest neighborhood in Trouville. Though the apartment itself has elderly wall-to-wall carpeting and is a bit dusty here and there, we didn't experience any allergies, and the overall charm of the location more than made up for it. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely rent this place again.
I stayed at this apartment for 3 nights in summer and what I really liked most was the location. A few steps away from the beach and short 5 minute walk to all the restaurants and fish market. The balcony is great. The only thing I didn't like was it was very dusty as I don't think it's lived in, so I had very bad allergies from the carpet and bed.
