The hostess Elena leaves home for office around 8:00 - 8:30am and is bacжk home around 8 pm. The daughter Natasha (17) is now free from school and her schedule is flexible. The host Alexander if not in the country side, works at home. We like to interact, to advise on the city and city life accordingly!

Our street is one of the most elegant streets in the city centre. Most of the buildings were originally built in 19 and beginning of 20 century but later renovated and look pretty. The area is very green, it is very pleasant to walk around. A big park is very close and many green streets and little green squares. It is in fact beautiful in every season. Places of interest - Smolny Cathedral, Smolny Institute, Tavrichesky Palace, Museum of Fieldmarshal Suvorov are exquisite examples of architecture of different styles and epochs. Neva River is just 10 minutes walk.

There are many buses from our area to city centre that bring you from here to the heart of the city. Nevsky Avenue - is about 15-18 minutes.
To the metro station Chernyshevskaya it is a nice 12 min walk. From the airport we would recommend to take a taxi, the ride is about 20 EUR.

The whole family speaks English fluently. Elena (hostess) also speaks German and Italian. If you come during week-end Elena, former tour guide can take you around the city and Alexander will drive. The fee is negotiable. We can provide cereals, tea, instant coffee, bread and butter for your breakfasts. Elena loves cooking, so if you wish she can cook a dinner for a special fee.
We have a friendly cat Mister Darcy.
