Debby was great, and even provided backup numbers if she wasn't available which she always was. I was there with wife and two kids (11 and 9) who slept together which is as many people as you want. Driveway and local roads definitely requires AWD or 4x4 as there are many hills, most of which were quite icy - but had no problem with my AWD.
Location is great, you pass a couple houses on the way down to the house but then it's beautifully isolated and we went walking on trails right out back door which were clearly marked and quite pretty. Big town nearby is Manchester and we spent a lot of time going to/from - it was 20 min or so one direction - a ton of restaurants and shopping there and was pleasantly suprised. Bromley 8 min or so away, and Okemo 35 minutes, both of which we visited (Stratton is closer but we didn't go there). For one couple with kids who don't mind sleeping together, or for two couples who want to share a bathroom (there are 1.5 bathrooms) the place was great!
Listing was accurate. This was a lovely place to stay for a weekend of skiing. Very quiet. Convenient for Bromley, with Stratton a little further - but short drive from property.
Tucked away, very quiet.....we enjoyed the stay...
Instructions were clear on how to find the place, and how to get settled in....
Great home! Right by Bromley and only about a 20 minute drive to Stratton! Very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again :)
The house was clean and comfortable and warm. The neighborhood was appropriately secluded, but close enough for a quick drive to skiing or places to buy groceries etc. We had a great experience overall. The only thing missing was a fireplace.
Debby is a great host and was very communicative, but not pushy. The house is very private, was clean and ready for relaxing ski weekend (kitchen stocked with cooking gear and some essentials). There was lots of snow but the driveway was plowed and the entrance was shoveled. It looks like a beautiful place for all seasons. I'm hoping to go back during the summer and try the hiking trails that are right outside the door!
Debby was a fantastic host. She kept in touch through all stages of the process: booking, making sure we found the place and arrived just fine, and post checkout. The cabin was perfect for our little ski trip, just 15-20 minutes from Stratton. The place was clean and cozy. Definitely need snow tires if coming in the winter though (which Debby let us know prior), driveway can be a little intimidating otherwise.
The house certainly ticked some key boxes for us: it was in the Green Mountain national park with direct access to trails, and felt pretty remote although it was only a short drive to the nearest shops. We arrived in the dark but it was easy to find by following Debby's written directions. It was warm and had all the basic comforts we needed, and although we didn't get to meet Debby, she was easy to get in touch with via Airbnb, and very helpful. Thank you for a great stay!

About the Host, Debby
It is so satisfying to have others appreciate and enjoy this home. There is so much to do there and/ or relax and be still, quiet and do nothing. Being outside, whether it's walking, cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, gardening is what I relish the most and am fortunate to have a place where that's all so accessible. I know the area well and am happy to make recommendations for all kinds of activities, dining...
