Brian is a lovely host, and we enjoyed his well equipped cottage during our stay near Galway! Brian made us feel right at home and offered many useful travel tips for the area. He even gave my son a hurling lesson in the back yard. The cottage is bright and new with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. I highly recommend staying with Brian.
Brian was a wonderful host who shared great history and general knowledge about Connemara, Galway and Ireland in general. As first-time travelers to Ireland this was quite the BONUS. The Cottage was perfect for our needs presenting all the amenities one could think of - including some goodies in the refrigerator to get us through the fist morning (eggs, milk, bread, juice - awesome)! We wanted a place outside of the hustle and bustle of town and this place was spot-on. THANKS Brian for a wonderful trip. OH, and BONUS #2 - watching his cousin's Irish Band play Sat. night at the pub in town - Amazeballs!
What can I say about Brian. He was great and I mean that, his mum was in the hospital and he found time to talk with us. He helped us find food, gave us history lesson about Ireland, made sure we were set in the morning with directions to where we wanted to go. He was excellent. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer at his place. Ireland is beautiful and he wants you to experience it for all it has to offer. He still checked in on us the day his mum passed away to make sure we got to Dublin ok for the parade. No doubt I will be back to stay with Brian but for a longer visit.
If you're considering a stay near Galway, you can't do any better than this lovely cottage. Brian was a wonderful, thoughtful host who offered suggestions when needed and gave us plenty of privacy the rest of the time. The cottage is well-stocked with DVDs and toys for children, and is clean and cozy. There was even a care package waiting for us when we arrived! And the location is perfect for heading into Galway or exploring the Connemara region. We had a wonderful time.
A wonderful host and location. Loved our stay and conversations with Brian, who is so congenial and knowlageable about the area. Wish we had of had 2 weeks, not 2 nights. Thank you Brian.
Brian was a fantastic host. My parents took this trip and Brian helped them greatly and was friendly, well-informed, and an all-round great host. The accommodation was ideally located and extremely clean. My parents raved about the cottage. Thanks for making their stay so pleasant!
I haven't stopped singing Brian's praises since I left Galway! He is an amazing host! He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and always has an interesting tale to tell. We enjoyed the lovely bike route that he recommended and enjoyed sharing a pint with him at his local pub. He really went out of his way to make our stay exceptional. My friend and I enjoyed every minute of our short stay in his lovely cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and we especially enjoyed visits from Puff, Brian's super cute dog.
I highly recommend staying at Brian's, it was a delightful visit from beginning to end! Thanks Brian!
Brian's cottage was a perfect start to our Ireland holiday! It was clean, cosy & stocked with much more than just the essentials. Brian is a super host, and was very attentive. Thanks again for the allergy med, it was much appreciated! Pretty views from the front doors and close to good food & drinks. Would definitely stay with Brian again!
Thoroughly enjoyed our time just outside of Galway in Brian's cottage. Very spacious place with all the amenities to match. Brian sat with us when we arrived and gave us excellent recommendations for touring, dining and entertainment. Extremely knowledgeable gent. I would highly recommend a stay in Brian's roomy cottage if you're making your way through Galway.
This is a lovely cottage in a fabulous location with sea and lake views, close to the city but out in the country so good nights sleep guaranteed. The house is really well kitted out with everything you could possibly need and immaculately clean. Brian and his friendly dog Puff were very welcoming and made for a really lovely stay. I highly recommend this accommodation and only hesitate as we don't want it to be booked up when we are up next!!
