We are offering our fabulously located home for rent this summer.
There are three bedrooms; master with king bed and powder room ensuite, second room has a low bunk beds (i.e. bottom bunk is on floor and top bunk is shoulder height) and third room currently has a crib, but we could set up a double bed if required.
Fully furnished and equipped family home with all conveniences, including wireless Internet, hd tv, and weber gas BBQ. We are a family of 6, with kids ranging from 4 months to 16 years, so we likely have all gear a family may need. If you are not a family, we are more than happy to store some toys and make our home more adult focused. Just let us know!
Our home is located in an amazingly, central location that is a 7 minute walk to all the restaurants, cafés, galleries and shopping that Main Street has to offer and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store and pharmacy on Fraser Street. We are close to numerous bus routes to downtown, beaches and UBC. We are a 15 minute walk to the new Hillcrest community centre and swimming pool. However, we think the best is that we have bragging rights to a gem of a cafe (Le Marché St. George) right on the corner! ((website hidden))

We had a wonderful stay of approximately 10 days in Aimee and Mike's house. The house had just about everything we needed (including food staples and even toy trains for our son) and if there was something we thought was missing, we spoke with Aimee and she told us how to find it! Communication was incredibly warm and responsive with Aimee. We loved the neighborhood as well, especially the coffee shop just down the block. I highly recommend the hosts and the home.
This home in Vancouver is delightful. It offers an urban atmosphere without being in the noisy hub of the city. Airy, contemporary furnishings, very comfortable for two couples and a single adult. Kitchen facilities and amenities were great. Dining outdoors on the back patio was quiet and relaxing considering we were in a very densely populated neighborhood. Hosts left lots of good information about the city and things to do that might not be in tourist books. Their neighborhood is full of great restaurants, music and shopping including a charming French creperie at the end of their block. We bicycled from their house to downtown Vancouver several times. Great bike shop on 18th and Cambie offering low gear bikes for $20/day. The hosts sent several emails answering questions and offering help during our stay. Highly recommend staying here. It turned out to be better than staying right downtown!
My family stayed at Aimee and Mike Pollard's place during the time of my wedding. Super nice people and very accommodating. My sister and her family loved the place and felt at home. Great place and location. Thank you Aimee and Mike.
We had a wonderful stay at Aimee and Mike's home. The location was great - a few blocks from Main street and five doors down from a fantastic cafe (Le Marche St George). Their home was spotless and very well equipped. We especially appreciated having access to all their toys, kid gear and crib. Our son was in heaven with all the cars and blocks! Aimee was a great hostess. She checked in regularly and had a few provisions ready for us when we arrived.
This was our first experience renting from airbnb and it exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home! It is airy, modern, central to everything, and perfect for a family to take over. However, it could easily suit an adult only get away too. My contact with the owners, in particular Aimee, was excellent. Aimee quickly responds to all requests and even checked up on us during our stay as the weather had turned hot and she gave us some tips to keep things cooler. The only issue we had was a lack of storage as the closets and dressers were full with the owners things. I did feed this back to Aimee already and knowing how quickly she reacts, I know this issue will be resolved. We were the first guests to stay here so we didn't expect everything to be perfect and apart from that issue, it was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and the home and will look forward to another opportunity to stay here again. Thank you Aimee and Mike!

We are an active family of 6 that love taking advantage of all that our city and surrounding areas have to offer. We downhill and cross country ski in the winter and bike in the summer. Soccer, running, swimming and basketball are all on the calendar. We enjoy trying all the new restaurants in the neighbourhood and taking daytrips to explore further afield.
