Interaction with Guests
I try to give my guests as much privacy as they wish, but I endeavour to spend some time with them, showing them the best touring routes and sites to visit. I also provide a ride to Barna village in my car if they wish, time permitting.
The peace and tranquility of the mountain we live on, the views are spectacular, over the nearby lake and bog, across Galway Bay, to the Burren, The Cliffs, and the Aran Islands. La maison était parfaite pour un séjour à Galway et Brian est d'une aide certaine pour trouver les meilleurs Pubs!
We stayed at Brianna place for one night. We were vet late arriving but Brian and his wife welcomed us all the same. A fridge with milk welcomed us for a good strong cup of tea after the long hours spent driving
Brian hosted us at a flexible check in time and provided great facilities. The view was awesome and the location ideal for the visit. Should I return to Galway, this is where I will be staying no doubts.
Brian's home was so nice and quaint. It's much bigger than it looks and is immaculately designed and kept up. Would recommend to anyone!
A fabulous stay! Brian was easy to work with from beginning to end. Home and kitchen were comfortable and well equipped. A delightful experience in a lovely part of Ireland.
My only problem with this location was that we didn't get to stay longer. Brian was great, and we would have really liked to do one of his walking tours of Galway. The cottage was clean, cozy, and the shower was great. We were a five minute drive into town, and maybe fifteen minutes from Galway. We felt warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our short time here!
We loved staying at Brian's Hideaway. The view was gorgeous and the place so peaceful. It is spacious and the kitchen is well stocked with basics. It is always great to have access to things like spices and foil while you are travelling. We had lovely weather and got up to date with our washing because there is a washing machine supplied as well. The hideaway is close to Galway and easy to get to the Connemara loop.
Brian is a very friendly host and he has provided good maps of the area to use. There is a great supermarket in Barna.
About the Host, Brian
