We felt very welcome by Brian, who provided detailed instructions, how to reach the cottage, had a care package of bread, milk, cheese and eggs ready for us and gave us great tips what to do in the area. The cottage lies in beautiful surroundings and is ideal for people who love the country-side and want a bit of space for when they come home and hang around the cottage.
The cottage at Brian's house is lovely. Private and secure. Very helpful when we arrived with information and where to get food. When traveling near Galway it's great for a few people or family to stay.
Our family of four had a wonderful two night stay with Brian. Brian is a fabulous host and resource for travellers. His guest home is fully outfitted and family friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara.
Brian has an awesome house in a great location just outside of the main city area in Galway. He was very responsive prior to my stay and shared recommendations on things to do. The house itself is very nice with modern amenities and plenty of space for four or more people. Brian is a really nice guy- he even gave me some eggs and bread and other food for breakfast. Brian also had great recommendations for local restaurants and took us to a local pub for a few drinks which was a nice touch! I would definitely recommend this location.
Brian was very welcoming & the cottage was excellent in every way, even some pete to look at which I have never seen before.
Brian shared his very rich historical and contempory knowledge of the local area with us, giving me a much better understanding of the Ireland my forebears came from.He went way over and above the call of duty in helping me in my Galway ancestor search.
We enjoyed our 3 days staying a Brian's cottage. The cottage was very nice. He was an excellent host, enjoyed talking with him and he gave us wonderful site seeing advise etc.... He even let us borrow his golf clubs to go golfing. We would highly recommend staying here.
Brian was a great host. Helpful with local places to see and eat. His place was very nice and conveniently located. Highly recommended.
