I can only agree with all the other excellent reviews! The cabin was perfect - a great mix of rustic and modern. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Frank was helpful and informative, offering tips of places to visit and giving us a thorough run through of the cabin upon our arrival. This was the first time we've used AirBnB and couldn't be more pleased! If every host is as pleasant and helpful as Frank, we'll be very lucky! We definitely recommend staying at Frank's cabin!
Frank was welcoming and interesting from they get go. He helped with our enquiries about the area and dropped some cider in to us.
The cabin is comfy and extremely homely. It could do with some minor touches - bedside lamps etc. - but my wife and I slept very well so we can't have missed them too much.
All in all, we really our time here and would recommend Frank's place unequivocally.
Just like everybody else, I have only positive things to say about my stay at Frank's cabin. The accommodations are lovely, spacious, and just rustic enough.
Upon arrival, Frank gave us the run down on all the cabin details we needed to know and provided me and my boyfriend with an excellent list of things to do around South Royalton. Worthy Burger 100% lives up to the hype, Chelsea Station is a slice of small town life (with a vintage shop in the rear with unbeatable deals), and for coffee lovers, the prices at the Vermont Law School-run coffee shop can't be beat.
Frank was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The photos and review of the cabin were completely accurate and our stay was everything we had hoped for and expected. The town is very quaint and a reasonable distance from some Vermont treasures like the Quechee Gorge and downtown Woodstock. I would recommend Frank's cabin to friend and would definitely return again for another visit.
Had a great time staying at Frank's place. The cabin was great for my wife and I. Google maps directions were spot on and Frank gave us a quick cabin rundown over the phone when we arrived. He was very easy to deal with, everything was clean, we had access to many different things to do in Vermont, we bought food at the market less than 10 minutes away, hiked and relaxed. Thanks Frank.
Serene and quiet, just as we had hoped, with beautiful views of the valley below. Frank met us at the door with the key and gave us a tour of the property which made us feel right at home. Easy 5 minute commute down the mountain to the great little town of Royalton. Cabin is perfect for a couple but could sleep more. Very dog friendly. Be sure to take Franks advice on where to go and what to do, we had a blast exploring the trails around the property and visiting local attractions.
Stay away from Worthy Burger and grill your own food with the grill provided and meat from the local market. Awesome farmers market in town on Thursdays. The White River is perfect for swimming and tubing, or building a small fire on shore and watching the sunset.
My friend and I were up in central Vermont from NYC for a weekend wedding, and this cabin was the perfect place to stay. Frank was a wonderful host. Unfortunately he had to go out of town before we arrived through the weekend, but that didn't prevent him from making us feel very welcome. He called ahead to check in on us, and then gave us a phone tour around the cabin. He made us feel at home, inviting us to walk the trails around his house and use the fire pit. Even away, he made himself available to us if we needed anything. The view from his property and surrounding area are absolutely gorgeous!!!! The cabin is up on a mountain, but not too far off the highway and not difficult to find. The cute center of town is just a short drive away with everything you would need- market, restaurants, bank, post office. The town center is on the way to the cabin. Worthy Burger came highly recommended by other Airbnb-ers, and it lived up to the talk! This was our first time using Airbnb, and because of this excellent experience, we will definitely utilize the network again! Thank you so much, Frank!
