Frank's house was perfect! The little cabin has everything you need, everything works perfectly. He's a great host and will help you out with anything - we even used the firepit! Overall fantastic time.
Frank was very responsive for this last-minute getaway for us. We had a lovely time in this cozy cabin. It had everything we needed to cook a hot meal and a great rest. The view was beautiful, even this late in the fall.
Frank was wonderful! He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the cabin and helped us to get situated. When I was at work he showed my boyfriend around and where/how to get a fishing license for the week. Was around if we had any questions. The cabin itself is perfect. Great location and has everything you need. Overall, the cabin was great and frank is the nicest guy! Would definitely recommend to anyone!
My boyfriend and I came up from Boston to spend a fall weekend exploring VT, and the cabin was a perfect home base. We arrived later than planned because of Friday night traffic but Frank was super accommodating and stayed in touch along the way. Once we got there he showed us around the cabin, explained what we needed to know, and went ahead with starting a fire for us when we expressed interest in the fire pit outside!
The cabin itself has everything two people would need for a comfortable stay. There's also a cozy little nook that someone could sleep in in a pinch, but we used it for lounging near the wood stove and reading after a long day.
South Royalton was a small but charming town where we ate dinner (Worthy Burger - definitely the most hopping spot on Saturday night with great food, local beers and house made pickles/condiments) and picked up some snacks for our day hike (South Royalton Market - well stocked co-op grocery).
Fantastic. Went out of his way to help us when we had a random problem. Cabin is great and comes with all the amenities plus excellent location.
We had a wonderful time staying at Franks place it was clean, quiet and beautiful. Frank was not there but any questions we had were answered immediately with a phone call. When the opportunity comes up we would love to stay there again. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants a quiet peaceful getaway.
Frank called the day before our arrival to make sure we had directions and was on hand to greet us and show the cabin. He is an amiable guy and a good host. Responses to our needs or requests were quick and efficient.
I am a Bostonian transplanted to Vermont years ago A child of the 50's, I survived the 60's and after a stint in the Navy I worked many years for a large telecommunications company and retired a few years after coming to Vt.
