The flat has a small living room and a quiet, peaceful open plan kitchen

It is not permitted to smoke in the apartment .If you cannot do without a cigarette ,please use the balcony by the kitchen , relax ,enjoy the view of the beautiful chestnut tree, blackbirds in the spring - and of course your cigarette.
When you are on the balcony, please consider the neighbours who also value their peace and quiet.
The apartment is situated in a quiet part of the neighbourhood, with no noisy party-makers. I would like to keep it this way.

Exactly what the apartment advert says: this place is very snug. I loved my stay here and the people who own it are really wonderful and sweet. Close bike ride to two parks. Near a swimming pool. And a 5 minute bike ride to the centre. Definitely the best apartment I have stayed in in Amsterdam.
we loved it! a really cosy place to be. in a cool area. we hope we´ll return soon!
Cia is a wonderful host and her apartment was perfect for my fairly long stay in Amsterdam. Centrally located (a bike or tram gets you 10 minutes from the Dam) yet still quiet enough to sleep well. The apartment is full of light and Cia's has made use of every inch of space, with comfortable banquet seating for the dining table and a built in sofa to enjoy the windows facing the street. The kitchen is great, once you get the swing of things and the bathroom/shower work well (though I can always stand my showers to be scalding and this one only gets 'almost hot'). The lofted bed area is wonderful and private, though you need to be a bit agile to get yourself up and down the stairs (welcome to Europe). The building is quiet and located in Oud West, a super sweet area with a great street market and lovely bars and restaurants. There are also supermarkets conveniently located nearby, as well as a place to drop your mail. Cia also has a washer, which worked great and the apartment has two terraces which allow for great air flow. All in all this is definitely the place to stay while visiting Amsterdam and Cia is definitely the host you want (she offered tons of helpful tips in addition to leaving croissants and bread the first day I arrived). When I come back I know where I am checking first. tot ziens
My girlfriend and I stayed in Cia's wonderful apartment for a month, and it really felt like home; it has a very warm, "lived in" feel to it.
The place is bigger than the pictures suggest, and has absolutely everything you need for a short or prolonged stay. Also, for winter months, it has a great heater!
It's a single tram ride to the centre (or a pleasant 20-25 minute walk), and has an excellent supermarket just a few minutes' walk away.
Cia and her partner are also very friendly, and will happily come to help you out (if, for example, you're stupid and can't work a simple key/lock system - oops!).
Overall, we were incredibly sad to leave this apartment and Amsterdam behind, and the place really contributed to a wonderful stay - we will hopefully be back soon!
We booked Cia's apartment for 3 months whilst using Amsterdam as a base for travels. The apartment was great and exactly as described. Cia was a fantastic host who was very welcoming, extremely helpful and very friendly. The service she provided was excellent and we would absolutely recommend the apartment to others. The place is very handy to the trams and local shops. Location is great! Hopefully we'll be back to be able to stay again!
Wonderful apartment, much more than I expected, loved it so much. Such a nice, cozy flat where you can relax after a long day of exploring the town. if you love art, you will realy enjoy the interior, all the details, full of creativity:) Definetely would reccomend to anyone visiting Amsterdam, the buses and the trams are close and the connections are realy good.
Cia and Pim are such wonderful hosts, they welcomed us with coffee and tea, and even got for us bread and best cheese! they also provided us with a city map and explained how to get around and where ;)Any time I find myself in Amsterdam I'm definetley staying here if possible.
Thank you once again Cia, for a wonderful hollidays ;)
