About this listing
Stylish apartment exclusively used for holiday rental. Just steps away from the Acropolis, the Acropolis museum and the archaeological sites, it has the unique feature that it has been built above a roman bath complex dating back to the 2nd century AD. The site belongs to the 3rd Ephorate, is not open to the public but can be visited by our guests, who will no doubt feel the magic of living and sleeping above the ruins.
Recently refurbished, bright, spacious and very quiet, it has a small yard with an awning, chairs and a table, an ideal place to sit back and enjoy your breakfast or a traditional Greek meal delivered at your doorstep at a surprisingly affordable price(contact details provided upon booking).
The neighborhood is lively and very safe with many restaurants, bars and coffee shops. A full list of them - and much more- will be provided upon booking.

Since I do not live close to the apartment, I need to know at least one week before your arrival in Athens, the number of your flight and your scheduled arrival time. This will enable me to plan the delivery of the keys. Thank you!
Apartment was wonderful! Comfortable and very central. Nico even booked us a taxi to and from the airport!
The flat is the right place to stay in Athens. It's located under the Acropolis hill, we have visited Plaka and Monastiriki by feet. Ralou's advice are precious to discover and appreciate the town. Her daughter Joana, is very kind too. The flat is very quiet and it's so nivce to have a drink in the backyard ! Thanks a lot to Ralou and Joana and see you soon.
This flat is amazing. Its location excels: three blocks from Acropolis and one block from the new Acropolis Museum. In front of it, a supermarket ( closes 11 pm) and a famous bakery. Just steps crossing the street. A spotless apartment, super quiet, comfy mattress, and as a plus a small but nice backyard useful for breakfasts.
Words apart is Ralou. Although we never met in person, she was always in touch. Arranged for us a round trip taxi for a standard fare, but with the plus to be driven by a trustable person.
We can't imagine a better spot to stay. Walking distance to all monuments, shops, restaurants and so on.
Thanks Ralou! Our very best wishes.

We had a lovely stay in Ralou's apartment. She made us feel very welcome, even phoning to be sure we had settled in and had everything we needed. (The fresh biscuits were just beautiful too).
The location is fantastic and within walking distance of the Acropolis and other sites. There is a great little coffee place and a bakery directly across the street so breakfast was very easy to grab before setting out for the day. Ralou had also left recommendations for restaurants and the one we dined at was very good.
To have this elegant apt waiting for us on our late return from Ralou's house on the island of Evia was welcome indeed. The following day we again returned late after a long, hot day in Delphi and Galaxidi. We have family in Athens but to have our own quiet space in this quiet, convenient neighbourhood, with Takis bakery and a small market nearby, was a real treat. Before leaving, on Ralou's recommendation we went to STOA, a small shop/gallery with a unique collection of contemporary art, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery. Now that we're home, our purchases remind us of the wonderful time we spent in Greece this year. Thank you Ralou for all your help in making this happen so effortlessly.
Ralou was an excellent host - prompt email responses and genuinely interested in making our stay pleasant. We took a taxi to and from the airport in Athens organized by Ralou that was very convenient.
The apartment was lovely - just a 10 minute walk from lots of sights like the Acropolis and the Agora. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would love to come back again someday.
