Stylish apartment exclusively used for holiday rental. Just steps away from the Acropolis, the Acropolis museum and the archaeological sites, it has the unique feature that it has been built above a roman bath complex dating back to the 2nd century AD. The site belongs to the 3rd Ephorate, is not open to the public but can be visited by our guests, who will no doubt feel the magic of living and sleeping above the ruins.
Recently refurbished, bright, spacious and very quiet, it has a small yard with an awning, chairs and a table, an ideal place to sit back and enjoy your breakfast or a traditional Greek meal delivered at your doorstep at a surprisingly affordable price(contact details provided upon booking).
The neighborhood is lively and very safe with many restaurants, bars and coffee shops. A full list of them - and much more- will be provided upon booking.

Since I do not live close to the apartment, I need to know at least one week before your arrival in Athens, the number of your flight and your scheduled arrival time. This will enable me to plan the delivery of the keys. Thank you!
Lovely apartment in central Athens. Ralou was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable- would definitely recommend
To keep it short and simple:
1. Ralou is the best host you could possibly dream of. She will go the extra mile to make sure that you feel at home
2. The location is unbeatable (unless you can sleep in a tent directly on the Pantheon): just a stone throw from the Acropolis and opposite one of the best bakeries you will ever come across (a tent on the Pantheon wouldn't offer you that).
On a different note, Ralou booked a taxi for us from and to the airport. The taxi driver turned out to be a nice gentelman called Yannis. So, accept Ralou's taxi booking offer if you need one.
We had such an incredible time in Ralou's apartment. It was very comfortable, with a lovely bedroom and living area and Ralou was a spectacular host!
Firstly, Ralou sent us buckets of information before we took off from London, so we knew we were in safe hands with so much communications. She was able to organise us a taxi from the airport which was a godsend! Anything I asked, I felt she was able to organise!
The location was out of this world! We were right by the acropolis, and the acropolis museum was at the end of the road. The train station was a 5 minute walk with a great train system, and wonderful restaurants and coffee shops near by. We nearly didn't need to leave the area... oh and of course, the incredible bakery across the road with the lovely family who owned it. There was always a line out the door and we understood why!
Finally, the best part for us was the booklet of where to go and where to eat. Ralou could release her own guidebook! We took it with us everywhere, and with the help of (website hidden) maps were never short of a good souvlaki, great coffee and of course, great wine!
Couldn't recommend it highly enough, and honestly, I think I've converted my mum to air bnb after this.
Thanks so much Ralou!
As a first time user of airbnb and similar vacation rentals I was nervous about leaving the familiarity of a hotel. After reading reviews I contacted Ralou and from her first response to my many questions I knew she was a host I could trust while in Athens. The apt was exactly as pictured and the hospitality was second to none. Ralou's attention to her guests was on par with the best concierge in 5 star hotels. She knows her city well and her suggestions for sightseeing, dining and entertainment were made based on our likes/wants during the trip. For taxi service Yiannis was the best driver - clean car, impeccably dressed and professional. Please ask for him if you need taxi service. Ralou provided the little touches that mean a lot to a tourist (a map with easily identified points of interest, ample towels/bed sheets/toiletries/clean apt, dishes and cooking utensils that were not chipped/cracked or discolored. And the fresh cookies and oranges left were a nice surprise. Ralou met my daughter and me at the airport (waiting after arriving from a business trip earlier), gave us hugs and called throughout our stay to make sure we were ok and to answer MORE questions I had. LOL I left Greece feeling like I made a friend and I highly recommend staying at this apt while in Athens.
I just spent a lovely 10 days in Ralou's wonderful apartment. All of the reviews are true. Ralou is a great hostess, the apartment is located in a wonderful area and is peaceful and quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Ralou met me on arrival and.called and messaged a number of times during my stay. She is also very approachable - I gave some feedback on a few minor repairs needed and she really appreciated it. I wouldn't hesitate to return! Thanks Ralou!
Lovely place to stay in Athens center. And Roula will make your stay easier by her very good advices.
Ralou's plane was a key ingredient to our lovely Christmas vocation in Athens. Am amazing location, very nice place perfect for 2-3 people (and we even couldn't use a lovely backyard, cause it was a bit cold). Ralou was extremely welcoming and very responsive to all requests. In the flat we also found lots of useful tips on things to do in Athens, which helped a lot!
