Jacky's apartment was perfect. The area was very nice and it was well connected to central London. Even though the tube strike happened while we were there, we still could get around by bus.
We enjoyed the walk through the woods to Highgate station .
There was a very smooth system for entering the accommodation . Thank you Jacky
Staying with Jacky and her family was the most delightful experience and best part of our trip to the U.K. Jacky was so helpful and very accommodating. This was a great space and perfect for a traveling couple like ourselves.
Our stay in the studio was lovely. It was exactly what we were looking for. Jacky and Paul could not have been more welcoming. We were in contact several times before our arrival, where Jacky provided helpful information on getting to the studio. The accommodations were exactly as described, clean and ready for us when we got there. The garden setting is wonderful and the flat had everything we needed. A detached structure, the accommodations are private and quiet, but if something is needed Jacky and Paul are right next door. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be.
We loved staying in Jacky's flat. It was just as pictured-- very clean and comfortable with lots of old-world charm-- and the neighborhood was fantastic. After braving the hustle and bustle of Central London, it was such a relief to come back to this peaceful flat each afternoon! The neighborhood is safe and picturesque, with a lovely park, and the nearby Crouch End has lots of great pubs and vintage shops.
Appartement très agréable dans le nord de Londres tout à fait conforme au descriptif. Accueil impeccable aussi, propriétaires très discrets.
This was truly a peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of busy London Town, yet very easy access to all the iconic London attractions. Very comfortable amenities and a lovely "village" feel in the immediate area with many little shops and eating places all within easy walking distance. I would definitely recommend it to mature age travellers like ourselves, seeking an authentic experience of London life.
I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it. Everything was as Jacky described, the place was clean, comfortable, homely and quiet. Transport links were good, I got to Farringdon in 40 minutes no hassle. It was a peaceful, quiet area, the garden was lovely and the double bed was very comfortable! Jacky was very helpful and also left a jug of milk in the fridge for my arrival which was a nice welcoming touch. A great find and place to stay in London.
