Our beautiful barn loft in Hinesburg is close to Burlington, the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain. It features a new kitchen, cathedral ceilings, plenty of natural light, rustic charm and lovely views. The space has its own entrance and is completely separate and private from the main house. A J1772 Level 2 EV charger is available for an additional $10 per night.

The space
Our barn has beautiful views of our pond, gardens and nearby farm. It is separate and very private from the main house, and features a living space with kitchen, eating area that can also serve as work space, air conditioning, futon couch that opens to a double bed, sitting area, a private bathroom and a bedroom with a queen size bed. The living space is spacious and open with vaulted ceilings and a 3/4 wall separating the bedroom (no door) from the rest of the space. The kitchen has everything for basic cooking, including a drip coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, toaster oven, microwave, small fridge with freezer, two-burner induction stovetop with pots and pans. Kitchen basics include: coffee and tea, creamers, sugar, salt pepper, oil, vinegar. There is a smart TV and wifi.
The property is on one acre with a pond and sitting area next to it for guests to enjoy. The landscaping includes well established perennial gardens throughout.

Guest access
Self check-in makes it a breeze to access the space with a keypad lock. We will send you instructions for parking and how to access the space a few days prior to your reservation date. You can arrive anytime after check-in at your convenience. It is ok if you will be arriving very late in the evening. The entire barn loft is your own private space while you are here. You are also welcome to explore and enjoy the yard, pond and gardens. If you have bikes, skis etc that you would like to store for your stay you can put them in the downstairs space of the barn. We also have a large freezer in the downstairs of the barn you can use if you need.

NORDIC AND ALPINE SKIING
The Sleepy Hollow Nordic Ski Center in Huntington offers 35km of well-groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing (20 min. away).

The Catamount Family Outdoor Center in Williston offers over 35 kilometers of cross country ski trails groomed for both classical and skate techniques. Catamount also features snowshoeing and the latest rage - Fat Biking! (20 min. away).

Sugarbush has six distinct mountain peaks for alpine skiing (Gadd, Lincoln, Castlerock, North Lynx, Mt. Ellen & Inverness), and 2,000-acres of backcountry in the Slide Brook Basin - 578 acres, 111 trails, 16 lifts, 3 terrain parks, and 20 wooded trails. (50 min. away)

ATTRACTIONS
Shelburne Museum is a museum of art, design, and Americana located 15minutes away. Ov(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) works are exhibited in 38 exhibition buildings, 25 of which are historic and were relocated to the Museum grounds. Only the visitor center and gallery are open in the winter. Visit their website for winter hours and exhibits.

Shelburne Farms is a beautiful property open to visitors to explore. It’s a nonprofit education center for sustainability, 1,400 acres, working farm, and National Historic Landmark on the shores of Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont. The property is nationally significant as a well-preserved example of a Gilded Age "ornamental farm", developed in the late 19th century with architecture by Robert Henderson Robertson and landscaping by Frederick Law Olmsted.

The Hinesburg Area Land Trust maintains many miles of excellent hiking trails. We'd be happy to share information about the trails.

Camel's Hump is close by in Huntington and one of the larger hikes in Vermont. Mt. Philo in Charlotte is a 15 minute drive and a short hike or drive to the top for spectacular views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.

Lake Champlain is 20 minutes away, and offers many recreational opportunities.
