This is a Private suite with bath. My place is close to the Village Green, it’s shops, restaurants, Chocolatier and bookstore. It’s a half mile to the Guilford beach, 4 miles to the Hammonasett beach in Madison. The house has great light, a cozy relaxing porch, a walking location to the village.
You want to take a Picnic lunch with you? talk to me...
My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, bicyclists or hiking enthusiasts, anyone who just loves history!

Where you’ll be

Guilford, Connecticut, United States

While walking around this town of 22,000, settled in 1639, you see any number of beautiful historic homes, many, the original models for the simplest contemporary homes designed now. The 'form and function' and the inherent simplicity, are desirable today.
There are 4 'Historic House Museums', one being the oldest stone house on the East Coast. Guilford also has the large impressive Village Green, the town was built around, it’s a 12 minute walk from the house.
Guilford has a small beach, marina and several good seafood restaurants.

Many interests, many travels. I love to be on the road, would say that I am
kind of a "SCOUT," in life, I like to see what is going on - almost anywhere.
When guests come here, if they ask, I have suggestions.
I give a 2-3 hour cooking class, that I am told is informative and entertaining -
then we all eat it and drink wine.
