A wonderful oasis in paradise. One of our favorite things was getting up early and just sipping some coffee on the back porch while watching all the birds, squirrels and the resident cat play in the huge oaks and tropical plants in the big private backyard. Quite neighborhood, …

The Squirrel's Nest was centrally located for all of our day trips (beach, downtown, and Myakka River State Park). Mike (cohost) messaged us to let us know the apartment was ready and we were able to check in several hours early! We arrived to a spotless apartment with a thought…

This is a great place to stay in Sarasota. It is near downtown, only minutes from great restaurants and shopping. Also a short drive to Lido beach. It is as described, and is quiet and clean. Andrea and Mike are great hosts!

We love being able to walk into downtown Sarasota and walk along the bayfront to watch the sunset. The town is especially fun on Saturday mornings during the farmer's market.
