This beautiful newly-renovated two-bedroom condo is a 10 minute walk from the Plaza and is centrally located to all activities in town including the Rail Yard, Canyon Road, and a short drive to Hyde Park Road which leads to the Ski Basin.
The condo is situated inside a private compound with no drive through traffic. There are two off street parking spots available to you directly in front of the house.
Inside you can enjoy the traditional New Mexico charm of the diamond plaster walls and the kiva fireplace. The art collection that hangs throughout the house is a creative mixture of antiques and contemporary art by local artists. A large sectional sofa surrounds the kiva fire place in the living room to socialize or relax around. There is a writing desk off to the side to work on.
The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and all the tools needed to prepare a meal for friends and family. From the kitchen door you enter to the private yard surrounded by coyote fence and a large elm tree. The yard has patio furniture and a bbq gas grill for outside entertaining.
The master-bedroom has a custom made Cal-King bed with an extremely comfortable mattress system modeled after the Montage Hotel and is accompanied with luxury linens. The guest bedroom has a comfortable full size bed with an antique vanity. The bathroom is new with an antique vanity and a deep soaking tub.

HIGH SEASON (JUNE - AUGUST):
$200/NIGHT, $1200/WEEK, $4000/MONTH
HOLIDAYS: $250/NIGHT, $1400/WEEK
CLEANING FEE: $75, Over 1 Week = $100, 1 Month = $200
PET POLICY: Well behaved dogs considered. DOGS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED.
PET FEE: $50/Dog. Fee increases after 1 week.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: $400
TAX FEE: 7% Lodger's Tax included in the rate.

1. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-in time is 2PM. Check-out time is 11PM. No Early Check-in and no Late Check-out without prior written approval. There is a $100 charge for an Early Check-in and Late Check-out without prior written approval. Rates are available for an early check-in or a late check-out. If you are interested please inquire.
2. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - 4 GUESTS
We do not allow more than 4 guests to stay at the condo without prior written approval. Violation of our maximum occupancy results in the loss of entire Security Deposit. There is a charge of $50 per person per night for each guest over 4 guests.
3. PET POLICY
The only pets we allow are dogs. A maximum of two dogs are allowed. Pet fee is $50/dog. Pet fee increases after one week. Dogs must be pre-approved before they are allowed at the property. Bringing a dog without prior approval results in the loss of entire Security Deposit. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. Dog owners are responsible for picking up pet's refuse. There is a $50 charge for not picking up refuse.
Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked directly in front of the condo only.
Trash must be taken to the street Monday night for early Tuesday morning pick-up. There is a $50 dump fee for not taking trash to the street for pick-up.
6. KIVA / FIREPLACE
OPEN THE FLUE BEFORE STARTING A FIRE IN THE KIVA/FIREPLACE. CLOSE THE FLUE AFTER USE. Tenant is responsible for removing used logs, embers, and debris from the fireplace after use. We provide a metal ash bucket located outside in the yard so you can safely discard this debris. Never leave burning or smoldering logs or embers unsupervised inside the condo. There is a $25 charge for not cleaning the Kiva/fireplace after use. NEVER LEAVE A FIRE UNATTENDED.
7. DISHES: Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher, add dishwasher soap located under the sink, and set on the run cycle before departure. We provide liquid dish soap if hand washing is preferred. There is a $25 charge for leaving dirty dishes.
8. BBQ GAS GRILL
Brush the grill clean after use and confirm the propane valve is turned off. There is a $25 charge if the grill is left dirty.
9. LINENS & LAUNDRY
Keep dirty linens in the bedrooms and dirty towels in the bathroom. The cleaner will collect all dirty laundry to wash.
10. HEAT & A/C: SET ACCORDING TO SEASON
1) Keep temperatures between 55 - 75 degrees during your stay
2) Set the two thermostats to 55 DEGREES before departure.
Both thermostats turned to OFF.
Must be turned OFF when away from the condo and before departure.
Leaving doors and/or windows in conjunction with the HEAT or A/C results in a $50 charge.
11. PROPERTY CONDITION & DAMAGES
All damages result in cost of replacement and/or any repair costs. Tenant has two hours from arrival to report any damages that are present when they arrive. If there is no report of a damage, tenant assumes responsibility of damages incurred during the rental period. Furniture, electronics, and artwork are not to be moved. Premises left in dirtier than what is considered normal will result in additional cleaning costs. There will be a $50/hr charge to restore the condo to it's original arrangement if furniture, electronics, and/or artwork are moved.
We provide two sets of keys. Both keys must be returned to the lockbox at end of your stay. There is a $200 charge to pay for rekeying all locks if keys are not returned the same day as check-out.
13. NO SMOKING
No Smoking is allowed inside the condo. Smoking inside the condo results in the loss of entire Security Deposit. Smoking is permitted outside. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly. There is a $50 charge for leaving cigarette butts on the property.
Outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum after 10PM. Please respect the rights of the surrounding owners and do not create noise or disturbances likely to annoy the neighbors. No parties. Having a party results in the loss of entire Security Deposit.
15. STORM / OUTAGE POLICY
No refunds will be given for storms, road conditions, or outages.
The Santa Fe Modern Apartment was exactly as described by the hosts. the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was more than sufficient for our stay. Parking was very easy, just steps from the front door!
Great location, well equipped, and plenty of space. There is off-street parking and you can just leave your car and walk pretty much anywhere in central Santa Fe (the railyard, the Plaza, etc.). It's on a very quiet street in a very pleasant neighborhood and in a little courtyard of other units, so the unit itself is super quiet. Nice art throughout and plenty of light. There is a small library of books, DVDs and CDs to keep you entertained if you get bored of wandering around Santa Fe (not likely!). Easy communication with the hosts. The only negative was that the bathroom fan doesn't seem fully up to the job of getting moisture out of the bathroom after showers, so the bathroom had a bit of a musty smell (the bathroom doesn't have a window to let in fresh air). Perhaps the hosts can fix this and then that problem could be solved (repair or replace the fan?). But there are tons of windows and fans in each room, so we just vented the air that way.
This Santa Fe condo is super comfy for relaxing after the walk to all the downtown favorites. It's close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go made it convenient to shopping, restaurants, and local sights. The accommodations are well appointed with a mix of modern smartness and traditional Southwestern comfort. I highly recommend this retreat. The hosts provided lots of insider tips on where to enjoy your stay and were always quick to respond to all questions and comments. It's clear they love hosting guests and want to make sure you enjoy Santa Fe to the fullest.

Had a wonderful time at this very very delightful apartment. Second bedroom he was a bit on the small side but we made it work. Great "walk Every where" location.
I had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The house was charming clean and very well kept. The home exceeded my expectations and was even better than what I was imagining from the images.

We had a great experience staying at Bobby and Alexis' condo. It was exactly as described, and in a great location. Walking distance to downtown, and the railyards where the farmers market takes place. The house itself was clean, and very comfortable with an airy feel and fun artwork. It was the perfect place to stay for a long relaxing weekend in Santa Fe!

Alexis (him) grew up in Amsterdam, spent time studying and working in photo and film in both LA, Santa Fe, and NYC. He works as a camera assistant on feature film and t.v. productions.
Bobbi (her) is from Santa Fe, went to art school in San Francisco, and worked in the film industry within the Art Dept. in both Santa Fe, NM and NYC. She currently lives upstate NY raising her daughter and producing films.
We both love design, art, traveling, and the hospitality industry. We were inspired to create a modern and relaxing space in the two places we love to "get away from it all" - Santa Fe, NM and Woodstock, NY. These are both magical places where we are able to do what we love - live by nature, collect art, filmmaking, yoga, and eat fantastic food.
