  • Perfect place to stay! Julee is a pleasure to stay with - very accommodating and low key - like staying with a friend. The space was as described, everything was very clean and comfortable. I felt safe and valued. I will definitely being staying with her again in future!

  • I had a very pleasant stay at Om-Sweet-Om. Julee and Sammy were gracious hosts. They gave me privacy, accommodated my hectic schedule, and provided good company when we saw each other. Julee was helpful and neat. Sammy is a wonderful companion who could soften even the hardest heart! The location is ideally convenient to everything you need nearby. I encourage you to consider staying at Om-Sweet-Om.

  • Julee and Sammy were wonderful and lively hosts. Sammy is quite loud when I first arrived, but after he got used to me, he was the sweetest dog you could ask for. Julee gave excellent advice on what to see/do around Boston and even gave me a lift to the city since it was on her way. The room was very cozy and warm and the neighborhood friendly. Location was excellent, less than 10 minutes walk to Whole Foods and the commuter rail (unfortunately a separate fare from the linkpass). Only wish I could've stayed longer.

  • Julee was a truly great host, she and her adorable dog Sammy made me feel welcome from the start, from having my own shelf and space within the fridge to the spacious and comfortable room. A brilliant experience for my first time using Airbnb. I stayed with Julee for a month and she was always ready to help - a genuinely kind, friendly and down to earth person. The accommodation was clean and tidy and had a cosy feel to it - really a home away from home!

There were excellent transport links into Boston via either the commuter rail which was a 5 min walk away or a bus ride away - and local amenities were also very close by. Additionally, Newton is a pleasantly green and safe place in the Boston area.

I would highly recommend to anyone a stay with Julee if you're looking for a place to stay whilst in Boston.

  • This was my first airbnb experience and definitely a great choice!
I stayed for one week at Julee's place and it was way more comfortable than any affordable hotel. If you need a place to stay close to Boston College (shuttle bus is 10mins away) this is where you want to go. Also don't worry about Sammy, he is the nicest dog you'll ever meet.
Bottomline: Staying at Julee's place is like visiting the friend of a friend, you don't know them but you can be sure they want your best and nothing less.

  • I stayed with Julee for 7 weeks while in Newton doing a course. I had a fantastic time and the stay was perfect. Julee is such a nice person and her dog is so sweet! I will definitly be staying here again. Thanks :)

  • Thanks again Julee & Sammy for being my hosts. This past visit will be one to remember! With the bombings and the manhunt that ensued, I felt very safe at your place. Thanks for the very comfy sheets, I slept like a rock! Looking forward to my next visit.

  • Julee is an awesome host - as is Sammy, her friendly dog. Excellent cinnamon scented coffee, good conversations (if you want them) and a great location make for a very personable stay.

Julee is bright and highly educated, but not intrusive. The room is comfortable, as is the bed and house. If you let it happen, deep sleep occurs here.

    Thanks Julee! Highly recommended.

  • This was my very first AirBnB experience and really didn't know what to expect. Well, let me tell you the experience couldn't have gone better!

Julee was informative and attentive even before I got there! She made sure I had directions and the best options for transportation to her house from the airport. And asked whether I like decaf, regular or tea. (She had all three) and if I was allergic to anything that she needed to be aware of. Loved that!

My plane was delayed several times and instead of getting to her place around 7, my plane didn't even land till 11:30pm! Going above and beyond she even came to pick me up! Wow, what a lifesaver and sweetheart! I was tired and hungry and she got me to her lovely, cosy home and proceeded to make me some tea. She is the ultimate hostess!

Room was clean and inviting with a comfy bed and soft fluffy pillows. Oh, and the flannel sheets felt like heaven. She made room for me in the bathroom with a shelf, wire basket and fresh soft towels. Kitchen was no exception, a shelf was made available both in the cupboard and fridge.

It was a quick stay (attending a two day class) but I felt very at home and as if I was staying with a dear friend. I HIGHLY recommend anyone thinking of staying in Boston or the surrounding area to stay with Julee and her adorable dog Sammy.
