The space
For a full tour of the treehouse, please visit our Insta (@SelahRidgeTreesort) and click on the "Tour" bubble below the profile.

Though plenty of activities are nearby for adventure, the treehouse provides sanctuary for the weary soul. An arched bridge connects the treehouse to the hot tub, custom-built in Alaska by Zen Bathworks. Made from aromatic cedar, you'll sooth away your worries as you breathe in the sweet mountain air.

Take in the views and sounds of the rustling trees while experiencing our spacious outdoor shower. Top off the night with a nice glass of wine, or roast smores on the balcony fire pit. At our treehouse you will not only enjoy the breathtaking views and the melodies of nature, but also unwind to the sound of the waterfall underneath. Bundle up in the warmth of the cozy indoors or bring in nature by sliding open the giant picture window. Our sweet escape makes kicking back in nature easy.

The treehouse is the perfect place for a romantic getaway for two. However, it can accommodate up to four guests comfortably with a full size trundle bed that pulls out from below the king bed if needed.

Our Treehouse is not currently equipped with wifi. It is our hope that this provides a much needed escape from the world and that you will enjoy being off the grid. However, if you find that plugging in is a necessity during your stay, there is great cell service. Any hotspots you provide should work well.

Neighborhood highlights

Resting in Georgia, but in the heart of the Tennessee Valley, our treehouse is only 20 minutes from Chattanooga and approximately 1.5 hours drive from Atlanta. It rests very close to some of the greatest hiking and outdoor activities. One of our favorite wineries is also within a few miles and offers tastings of some of the sweetest Georgia grapes daily. Excursions like the famous Rock City, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and even Cloudland Canyon are only a short distance.

Lives in Ringgold, Georgia
Pets: Dude
Daniel and April have been going on adventures as soon as they married. Taking a risk and stepping down from their nine to five lives, they built their first home in South Georgia with close family and friends. They moved their 208 square foot tiny home from South Georgia to North Georgia placing it on a 260 acre farm. With a home that small, they’ve enjoyed learning the secret of living large in small spaces. Excited for the next adventure, they found a nearby property that radiates the natural beauty of the mountains. The aptly named Selah Ridge became the perfect setting to build a retreat. Working off the beaten path, Daniel and April built a treehouse to serve as a place of rest and tranquility for their guests. Inspired by their love of creation, they seek to cultivate places where others can pause, rest, and reflect on the beauty of life.
