The Hygge is a new free standing studio in a heritage conservation area close to Bondi Junction CBD. Westfield and Bondi Junction Bus and Train Interchange only a level, 8 minute walk. Bondi Road’s bars, cafés and restaurants are five minutes away. A walk to Bondi Beach takes about 20 minutes. Sydney CBD is just a 10 minute train ride.

The space
Hygge is a Danish word meaning cosiness and comfort. The Hygge is an architecturally designed building of reclaimed bricks separate to the host’s house. It has its own rear lane entrance. There are no adjoining walls. It is a completely private and unique space. There are no overlooking neighbours. It is a perfect, quiet retreat for singles or couples.

The upstairs space has a fully equipped kitchen with a pantry area, fridge, oven, induction hotplate, microwave, dishwasher and coffee pod machine. The airy, light filled studio has spacious bedroom, lounge and dining areas. A breakfast bar has city views, perfect for an afternoon or evening cocktail. The space also has Wifi, TV and DVD, reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan and block-out blinds on all windows and the opening skylight.

The downstairs area consists of a brand new bathroom with underfloor heating, storage space under the stairs and a large linen cupboard. The shared laundry with washing machine, dryer, clothesline and sink is adjacent to the Hygge’s front door.

High quality linen, towels and toiletries are provided.
