We are committed to providing a very clean environment. The studio will be empty for over 24 hours between stays. It will be cleaned using PPE like masks and gloves and disinfectant made by a local distiller, Griffo.

Your studio is more like a cottage, tucked away in the back yard under a giant redwood. Located walking distance to downtown Petaluma and a short drive to Lagunitas brewery. Perfect for a weekend of wine tasting, brewery tour or a trip to the coast.

The space
Our little cottage has a great open and airy feel to it, which seems to be the perfect thing for a good nights rest. The simple whitewashed walls and exposed rafters make it a very relaxing and charming space that we love sharing with our visitors.

In the studio you have a queen size bed, full bathroom, refrigerator, tv and dvd player, microwave, toaster oven, coffee/tea bar, and a few games. Please note that we do not have cable with the tv, but wifi and our apple tv make it so there are plenty of options for things to watch.

Guest access
The studio is located behind our home, tucked away amongst the giant redwood and yucca trees so you have plenty of privacy. You can come and go as you please. We encourage you to check out the garden, pick a lemon from the tree, say hi to the chickens and relax in our little oasis.

Other things to note
We are registered with the City of Petaluma as a Short Term Vacation Rental. Permit # PLVR-19-0012. We are required to charge a 10% Occupancy Tax which is collected through the Airbnb Resolution Center prior to arrival.

We allow guests to bring their dogs, but we do ask a few things...

- We charge an additional cleaning fee of $20 per stay for guests with dogs
- We ask that you clean up after your pet and keep them off of the furniture
- If you need food or water bowls, let us know!
- Please do not leave your dog unattended for long periods (or short periods if they don't do well without you)

Neighborhood highlights

We are in a residential area less than a mile from downtown Petaluma which has some great dining and local boutiques. If it's a Friday evening you might catch Petaluma Pete's street piano. Taps and Brewsters are both great places for craft beer. There's great italian, tapas and farm to table style restaurants close by which highlight the great food and drink that comes from this area.

My husband and i have a studio at our home in Petaluma, California as well as a condo at Big Sky Resort in Montana.
