Get train on lower level of Central Station platform 16. Get off the train at Rutherglen Station. Either get the lift up or go up the stairs and turn to the right at top of stairs or when you get out life and walk along the tunnel. When you come out the tunnel you walk straight on and you will see all the shops ahead this is MAIN STREET RUTHERGLEN. Cross the Main Road towards TSB BANK and then walk down that street. There is a huge church on your right hand side and the bank is on your left. There are cheap taxis here if you want to get one up the hill they could take a few pounds up to £5. Otherwise walk on and you come to a T Junction.TURN RIGHT and cross the road here to the other side. As you walk and look up the green hill on your left you will see steps going up that hill that's where you are going. Keep going along and then you will see flats on the left and in front of you and the stairs run up the side of the flats to your left. Start up the stairs and after about 10 steps you will see the steps go all the way up about 70 steps or you can take the path to the left if pulling cases. If taking the path it takes you into a lane (alley) and when you reach the end TURN RIGHT you are now on My Road Clincarthill Road and walk along to the WHITE GUIDE HALL. If taking the stairs same thing walk straight on at the top of the stairs along a lane until the end and TURN RIGHT and walk to the GUIDE HALL. After this there are THREE HOUSES JOINED TOGETHER. MY HOUSE IS THE 3RD AND LAST HOUSE of the three NO 26 there is a tree at the black gate and the door is glass and you can see through it to the next door inside.

Lastly our guests like the fact that it is quiet at night and they get a good nights sleep.

Interaction with Guests

You will be able to ask any questions in the morning should you need to clarify any situations.

The Neighborhood

Although we are on a hill the house looks onto the Cathkin braes and the sky is lovely at night because we are on a small street with not too many street lights. The street is quiet.

Getting Around

The street is in the middle of two main roads where buses run into City centre every 10 minutes and across the Main Street the Trains run. The nearest buses ar just 3 minutes to the road and the train station is 8 minutes away.

House Rules

We do not have alcohol on the premises and the house is non smoking, however if you are out socialising we are happy with this as long as the household is not disrupted by unacceptable behaviour on your return.

We have two small Bichon Frise dogs who are very friendly and love people particularly children and young people. Their coats are non allergetic and suitable for asthma sufferers.

We ask that you keep the bathroom tidy by keeping your towels and wash bags in your own room after use. There is a washing basket in the bathroom for used towels and we ask that as you use the towels you place them in the basket at the window to allow for cleaning.. This way we can wash and dry the towels quickly and the bathroom is kept tidy for everyone in the house.
