The kitchen - childfriendly, with childchair and childlock on the drawers and cabinets
Welcome to Aalborg, a Danish city with around 125.000 inhabitants. Aalborg is a port city and is known for the infamous Jomfru Ane Gade (Virgin Ane Street) a street filled with bars and discos.
I will do everything I can to make your stay as comfortably as possibly, and will happy answer any questions you might have before and during your stay. I will also be happy to guide you to the sights in and around Aalborg, based on your sightseeing wishes.
**ABOUT THE APARTMENT**
The apartment is a close to downtown, child friendly apartment with everything you will need to enjoy your stay in Aalborg. The kitchen and bathroom are very big, giving the feeling that the apartment is bigger than a 3-roomed apartment.
The apartment is very child friendly with toys, puzzle facilities and a toddler chair – but all of this is located so as you can easily stay in the apartment without kids.
The permanent beds are a double bed in the master bedroom and a single/double bed in the child room (it can be made into both). Beside these there are two guest beds, a travel-toddler-bed (please inform me if you need this), a double air mattress and a sofa big enough to let a person sleep on it. I have pillows and dunes/blankets for six persons.
During your stay, you will be able to enjoy:
Television with a variety of movies for adults and kids
A PlayStation 3 with access to games
More than thirty English books
Eco/allergy-friendly soap by every sink and for shower
Eco washing soap for clothes and free use of cleaner/dryer
Free use of basic food (flour, spaghetti, rice, ingredients and so on)
Clean sheets and towels
Washing machine with eco/allergy-friendly soap.
An enclosed outdoor area with all-day sun and barbequing opportunities.
Folders describing some of the opportunities in and around Aalborg (including maps)
Generally, you will have a lot of freedom while staying in the apartment. There is just a few areas where I have to ask you to take precautions;
First, I ask you not to smoke indoor - you are welcome to smoke outdoor though.
Secondly, I have to ask you to keep the voice down during the evening. You don't have to worry about noises when you talk or watch television. The neighbor have kids, so if you wish to have a party, then please move the party to one of the nearby bars or Aalborgs infamous drinking street, Jomfru Ane Gade, after 10PM.
Nicola's flat is great. It's big enough to host a few people, light and bright, everthing is there and is close to the city centre. There are also a few places around for nice food and beer (and shops). Great contact too and flexible. We had a nice stay!
Vi havde en god oplevelse med Nicolas lejlighed. God fleksibilitet og en rar og åben modtagelse. Det var kun en enkelt overnatning, kom rimelig sent, og var tidligt ude, men har kun godt st sige!
We had a very nice stay in Nicola's apartment. Everything worked out well, and Nicola was most kind and helpful. We highly recommend this accommodation and will gladly return anytime. Ulla and Michael, Belgium
Nicola was a good host. While our stay was short, we felt right at home. Had no problems with parking and the location was near to the city centre.
The flat is nice and cozy and you like home from the very beginning :)
Great place to stay in Aalborg. This apartment has everything you need. Absolutely recommend it! Thank You Nicola!
Nicola was a very nice host. She could not receive us because she was waiting for our sheets to be ready, which is perfectly fine. We saw her in the evening and she has been pretty welcoming.
The appartment was located in a calm and lovely neighborhood and a supermarket was near by (2min by walk) so we could cook dinner for ourselves. We all liked the flat which was cosy and the beds were comfortable. Thank you very much, we appreciated our stay!

I'm an 23 year old economics and bussines administration student.
I hope, when I'm finished with my studies, that I'll be able to work with voluntary work and to help find ways to globalize the world.
I live together with my son, Adrian who are 3 year old and very talkative - he loves to have guests. (And he will try very much to make you understand danish when he meets you!)
I like culture, and I have a lot of books and movies in my apartment (witch you'll be able to borrow if you're renting my place - most of them are English.)
I look forward to meeting you and if you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask!
