The space
The Malibu Retreat Villa is a 2400 sq ft home that is all yours. The home has been decorated with local art and relics from our own travels. Even though you have seclusion and privacy on the property, there are hiking trails nearby and a 15 minute drive will get you to Pacific Coast Highway to Duke's Restaurant on the beach and many other destination spots in Malibu and nearby Santa Monica. You can also get to the Calabasas Commons that is surrounded by great restaurants, bars, shops and salons within 20 minutes.
At the Malibu Views Villa, we pride ourselves on offering our guests the best amenities possible. Our bedrooms are equipped with extra pillows and blankets, bed linens, hangers and clothing storage. Our three full bathrooms come with body/face soap, hair dryer, hot/cold water, shampoo/conditioner, and shower gel. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, including an air fryer, wok and blender. Breakfast basics like coffee/teas, creamers, sugars, honey, etc and the living room boasts air conditioning/heat, ceilings fans throughout the home, TV, wifi, arcade games, 2 karaoke machines, Foosball table, children's pool table, board games, Xbox and and books and reading material. Now includes an infared Clearlight outdoor wellness sauna beside the hot tub and stock tank pool to cool off or use as a cold plunge!

We travel extensively and know what we are looking for in a stay and hope to provide our guests with comfy bedding, good quality towels and linens and all the necessities you would need while on vacation. You will never run out of toilet paper or towels, spices, etc. We truly fully stock the home for a real comfortable vacation for you to enjoy. If there is anything special that you need to make your stay comfortable, please don't hesitate to ask.
The Malibu Retreat Villa is an ideal place for families, groups of friends, Bachelorette gatherings, or even a couple who want to stay in a larger home with all that nature has to offer while overlooking the ocean in the mountains of Malibu. Family reunions, girls weekends or yoga/meditation retreats would be the perfect occasions at the Malibu Retreat Villa. We do not allow any large or loud parties. Small get togethers can be approved with prior discussions. We allow dogs but with prior approval and an extra nonrefundable pet fee which is determined by the size and breed of dog, with a 2 pet max.
Please note: there are many steps on the property, including inside the villa.
Also, you cannot walk around the property and smoke. You CANNOT smoke in the seating area in the mountain or around the hot tub. It is just too dangerous as we are in a high fire zone. You can only smoke on the villa patio and you must use the ashtrays and make sure your butts are completely out and thrown out once they are cool.
Guest access
Please note: Be honest to us at booking about the number of guests or if you bring pets. We hope you understand we are very strict with these rules. Animals will require an extra cleaning fee for any booking and must be approved before booking. No guests allowed who are not on the booking. If you want to add guests, just let us know and we can add them to the reservation.
This property is very special to us and we want to share it with others but we expect respect to the property and the wildlife and our neighbors here. We hope you treat it as good as if it was your own.
Other things to note
Absolutely no glitter or confetti use in the home or outside. It is very difficult and time consuming to clean and dangerous for wildlife. An extra cleaning charge for confetti/glitter or decorations left up or not thrown away will apply. All decorations, including balloons and streamers must be cleaned up completely inside and outside before check out.
We are in the mountains, there are spiders, insects, rodents, snails throughout the property, but we have regular pest control service and rarely see any insects inside.
Malibu city law: Quiet Hours for STR from 10pm-8am. Please abide by this rule as it is a city wide rule, not ours and we put in good sound proof windows inside that if closed after 10pm, will allow you to enjoy music, karaoke and fun without disturbing the neighborhood. If you want to be outdoors after 10pm, you must be keep voices and sounds to a minimum please.
