Your recently renovated 2nd floor apartment includes a fully stocked kitchen (stovetop/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, glasses, plates, bowls, flatware, slow cooker/crockpot, blender, toaster, mixer, coffee maker, complimentary coffee, creamer and tea, hot chocolate, cooking oil, salt/pepper, cooking utensils, sugar), as well as spacious living room and dining areas. The living room includes a queen sofa bed.

Accommodations include an over-sized master bedroom with 2 queen beds/linens, slate inlay sofa table, and upholstered chair; a large 2nd bedroom with full size bed/linens, and two twin beds/linens and a desk and chair for workspace. We provide a complete towel set (bath towel & wash cloth) for everyone. All rooms also have darkening blinds for sleeping and complete privacy.

Yes, we even offer amazing guided horseback riding experiences year round! If you're interested in this, please let us know, we'll provide info about what's included, what to expect, and the fee and get you on the schedule ahead of your arrival. This is an exclusive experience offered only to our valued guests...YOU! Our guests LOVE it, they enjoy meeting the horses up close and personal, learn how to groom their horse, and their horse's story, and have a blast learning to ride and trailride through our beautiful wooded areas...check out the reviews.

Lots of open space and yard areas, your view overlooks our horse farm from every window. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful farm stay with private driveway and parking. Enjoy a walk through the large grassy courtyard with magnolia, cedar and endearing tall pine trees, or a stroll through the wooded trails, as you are greeted by horses. A firepit is also available in the spacious backyard that overlooks the horse paddocks.

Ample well-lit off street parking is available beside the house, near your private entrance.

Neighborhood highlights

Our Lancaster County farm neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and the brick farm house with the apartment, sits back off the road, along our farm lane across from the rolling Chiques Creek. Guests can explore the historic 19 acre farm (the barn built in 1809 and the brick house built in 1814), enjoy a hike through the wooded trails, a short stroll past the historic mill in front of the house, along the Chiques creek, or just enjoy the tranquility of the babbling stream when sitting in the private front yard. Many guests have said this feels like a retreat for them, with all the amenities of home.

While in a peaceful rural setting, Pleasant Pines Stables is located about 5 miles from major highways, Route 30, Route 283, and Route 23. Two major foodmarkets (Giant, Weis) are all within a 4-5 miles access, and Lancaster's oldest Central Market is less than 12 miles from the farm.
