We love rearranging the furniture in the house, as we believe that it is each time a different experience. Therefore, the location of the furniture may vary in the presented pictures. It is important to us that what we are projecting is well represented of what you will expect when visiting. Should you require any additional views of our space please feel free to ask.

Should you chose to stay at our home you will be accommodated with:

Two bedrooms both with fine linens and each with their own privately appointed full baths.

Both bedrooms have large flat screen TV, and are connected to premium cable, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The space has a strong and fast connection to the internet via wi/fi.

For the mornings our kitchen is equipped with a Miele coffee maker including delicious coffee beans. Tea lovers will have a nice variety of offerings as well.

The kitchen is equipped with access to a state of the art Miele Induction cook top and a Miele Convection oven. In addition we also have for your use an inventory of pots and pans.

We do not have a microwave for heating duties and instead usually use the oven.

Our homes HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) needs are divided into three separate spaces. For the main room (kitchen and living room) and second bedroom we have a forced air unit suppling heating and a/c via ceiling vents and is controlled with a Nest thermostat.

For the master bedroom we have electric base board heating that is controlled via room thermostat. For cooling needs we have a traditional wall mounted air conditioner.

In addition, the second bedroom is equipped with a wood burning stove. It is very easy to operate. The wood burning stove provides a radiant heating sensation that is very cozy, but requires your attention to maintain it.

Neighborhood highlights

We love the neighborhood our home is located in. Its placement has a lot of character with enough area (almost 2 acres) to make it feel very private.

The house is on a beautiful quiet street, located on a no outlet block, perched up on a hill crest. We have some neighbors who live across and next to us. Our neighbors and their families are very important to us, we ask that your actions and behavior during your stay always respects them.

We have had friendly repeated experiences on our property with deer, rabbits, wild turkey, and a variety of beautiful birds. Please do not go out of your way to disturb them, we like to think they are a part of the natural landscape.

Our place is great to use as a lily pad to explore the surrounding Hudson Valley area but you can easily stay on-site your entire stay with complete satisfaction.

Hello thanks for reading about me. It is my goal to visit all of those places that i have been talking about, waiting for all of these years. I have always had a passion for road trips and enjoy great diverse foods along the journey. Love and respect nature and are always taken back by the kindness exhibited from the animals viewed in their natural environment. Five things can not live without would be: 1. Great coffee. 2. Amazing wine. 3. Comfortable weather. 4. Beautiful sunsets. 5. The smell of the ocean. To have me as a guest at your location it would be very special for you. I am self described as very kind, considerate, and respectful to those around me and the surroundings that I am responsible for. I am mild mannered, do not smoke, do not drink to the point of intoxication, and are very aware to be respectful of the privacy of the neighbors who are around us. Seeking out wonderful relationships with the help of airbnb and to provide a sound traveling experience when it comes time to lodging in a new place. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions that i can help to answer.
