The space

Lovely fresh double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Bed sheets and towels are of course provided. Breakfast is included. Dinner can be provided by arrangement from euros 12 per person. The room is in a house that has been sympathetically refurbished retaining the original tiled floors etc... Breakfast can be taken in the garden under the ancient vines.

The house is located in a quiet residencial street close to the centre. Parking is available on the street. Just moments away there is a boulodrome, tennis courts and childrens play area. The village of Puisserguier has banks, cash dispenser, post office, 2 boulongaries, 2 butchers, tabac, florist newaagent,small supermarket 3 bars and restaurants. Several wine caves where you can taste the wine before purchasing.

Puisserguier is a medieval village surrounded by vineyards. The local vineronnes ( wine makers ) offer wine tastings and some offer accompanied walks in the vineyards.

There is a bus service to Beziers. , The Haut Languedoc national park is at 20 min away. The nearest beach is at 20 min away and the river Orb where you can swim or canoe is a short drive.

The canal du midi is nearby and lots of nice cycling paths. Great location for touring the region.

Irish, but lived and worked in London uk for many years. Travelled extensively, have worked in hospitality most of my life. Now semi-retired I moved to France 2006/7 spent 2 years refurbishing Chez Noeleen.

France offers a marvellous lifestyle, sun, sea, history and of course the wine.
People are wonderful, France is beautiful country with so much to offer.
