Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Featured in Schoolhouse Electric's winter catalog (2020), Cedarwood is a beautifully restored vintage cabin, nestled in the forest above the banks of the Sandy river. We spent extra time selecting just the right finishes to create a comfortable & modern forest retreat.

The space
You'll enjoy a window lined dining room, petite kitchen with modern appliances, living room with European convection fireplace and plush sofa, bathroom with a luxurious tile shower, two small bedrooms (one with a queen tuft and needle mattress and soft bedding & a bunk room with twin XL bunks), a washer and dryer, deck with grill, and lots of extra touches. Curated puzzles, games, and books are there for your enjoyment as you relax and listen to the forest sounds. At 760 square feet, it's the definition of a cozy mountain cabin in the woods.

The Wifi is solid (100 Mbps).

Traveling with a little one? We've got a Lotus travel crib and baby toys ready for you.

Please note: the kitchen is petite to keep with the simplicity of design and as such there is a small counter-top toaster oven, but no regular sized cooking oven.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire cabin and pathway access to the Sandy River.

Other things to note
We have a nest cam installed outside for security.

We love to give our cleaning crew Sunday to rest, so we encourage guests to extend their weekend stay and get Sunday night at 50% off if they are staying Friday and Saturday night already. Just message us and we'll get your reservation extended!

We are a family of seven who love traveling and adventuring together. We love hosting people on their adventures too! Several years ago, we lived in Europe for a year and used airbnb predominantly. It was such a great experience and is our favorite way to explore new places. After meeting so many kind people through our stays, we decided to get our own airbnb going, so that we could provide people with the same personal travel experience on Mount Hood.
