Holiday makers will enjoy the fantastic variety of places to visit in and around Cannes : The old town with the lovely fresh fish and vegetable Forville Market, arts and crafts shops, art galleries and designer shops . From the old port, boats trips can be taken to nearby Lerins islands and St Tropez. Local trains can be taken to Nice, or sea resort of St Raphael. Monaco, The Italian Riviera, San Remo are easily reached by train and are merely an hour away.
Every year in July and August, Cannes organizes fantastic firework displays which can be admired , away from the crowds , from the balcony, in the privacy and comfort of the apartment. It is a fabulous show and the view is truly breathtaking !
Guests have access to library ,DVD player and collection terrestrial and satellite TV - WIFI.
Sandy beaches are within a 5 minute walk- water sports - windsurfing, sailing etc.. are available at Palm Beach
Interaction with Guests
We make sure that all guests get clear instructions on how to get to the apartment and we liaise with our guests before their arrival to arrange for a specific appointment time to hand over keys, show the apartment and give any information, about sightseeing or restaurants in the vicinity, that guests wish to have . We are a team and either I or one of my colleagues meet guests upon arrival and are available during guests stay. Name and contact number is confirmed prior to arrival. Private transfer from and to the airport can be arranged on request.
Fantastic location in a quiet street just a few minutes walk to Croisette beaches, all cafes, and brasseries- Next to the pedestrian precinct of Carre d'or with all the designer shops. Choice of a multitude of restaurants for all budgets and tastes in nearby streets within a 5- 10 minute walk. Also close food open air market and supermarket
CHRISTMAS&NEW YEAR : a great time to visit Cannes, there is a fabulous firework display on New Year's eve that you can watch from the balcony whilst sipping your champagne !
Restaurants and seafront hotels offer special gastronomic menus and Palm Beach Casino offer packages including meals, cabaret entertainment and disco.
We can provide you with list of good, reputable restaurants .
The apartment is so well situated that one can walk to the beach, shops , restaurants and cafes. there are buses along the sea front to access the Palm Beach, the old town and other areas of Cannes.Festival hall and the main line TGV station are just 10minute walk away.
Other Things to Note
Secure parking is available in underground carpark of nearby building- It can be reserved at the time of booking.
In low season, arrival and departures days are flexible- In high season, (july, august) bookings of a minimum of 1 week are taken - from saturday to saturday.
For congresses, Film festival, bookings are taken for the congress period. THIS APPLIES TO FILM FESTIVAL: ONLY BOOKINGS FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF FIF ARE ACCEPTED.
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment but smokers can use the balcony!
NB security deposit of 650 euros can be varied depending on length of stay and number of guests.
please also note that during july and August, the minimum stay is 7 nights
I share my time between London and Cannes and I love it ! Cannes is a lovely city with the most spectacular coastine, beautiful beaches , great for swimming or jogging,best enjoyed in the early morning sun. Food markets are fantastic with lovely fresh fish, fruit and vegetable and if you do not feel like cooking , there is a profusion of good cafes and restaurants for all budgets within a 2 minute walk from the apartment.
