  • So this was my first time using airbnb, and I have to say our stay exceeded my expectations. Hilary and her place were so awesome! Super clean, very nice, great views, great location, etc etc. She even gave us a free upgrade to room 5 which was fantastic. The breakfast was good too! 5 stars :)

  • Hilary and her place were absolutely amazing. It is gorgeous place off the beaten path but still close enough to everything specially in the north shore. It had everything u can possibly need. ... And Hilary? She is wonderful host going above and beyond to make sure u are doing great. We loved it there and will be back. Mahalo dear Hilary

  • Had a great time at the retreat center! Really enjoyed walking the grounds and the kitchen was always stocked with breakfast goodies. Great for community atmosphere as you can hear most people. Room #1 was not very private since we were on a corner near the communal area and a walkway, and the curtains were sheer. Otherwise nice room and all photos were very accurate. Would come back again!

    Response from Hilary:

Room #1 is the least private because a room window boarders the large lanai common area and can be made quieter and more private by closing that window and the curtains. When we selected the curtain fabric we made sure that the curtains are not see through and will still allow light through which means that at night if the lanai lights are on, some light comes through.

  • Although our stay at the Kauai Retreat Center was only brief (one night), it was a great place to be. We had a good night's sleep and had the opportunity to do laundry after 4 days of hiking/camping. Would definitely recommend staying there.

  • We actually stayed in room 4, although had originally booked room 1. The house was in a great location and a perfect place to rest after hiking the Kalalau trail. It was also really nice to be able to do some laundry after the hikel. Beautiful home with private rooms. We had a great time meeting and talking with some of the other guests, although if we had wanted to keep to ourselves we could've done so. Didn't use the kitchen much but it was a nice large space with a central living room. Would definitely come back here to stay again.

  • It was an amazing and wonderful place to stay... it was llke walking into your own tropical farm paradise. So lovely and everything was in great order. My room was enormous, and it was great to be able to use the kitchen freely and also beach gear and towels. Thank you so much HIlary ! I highly recommend.

  • I can't say enough good things about Hilary and her B&B. The property and house is gorgeous and amenities are plentiful. Hilary was super accommodating- I was able to ship camping gear in advance and at the last minute she was able to give us a room when our plans changed. This whole experience was such a pleasure and really added something special to our vacation!

  • We were only able to stay one night because we were backpacking the next morning, but I wish we could have stayed longer! Great open air lounge and common area, really well stocked kitchen and nice living room area too. No complaints...it was a great, even if short, stay!

  • Hillary is a super Friendly Host and has Build up a Wonderful Place. There is a very nice Kitchen/Social area and The rooms are nicely setup with comfy beds and large windows looking out into The Forest. She helped us very much organizing luggage Storage before departing on Kalalau Trail. We would definitely come back!
