Fabulous Harbor view 2 Bedroom Aprt

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Connaught Rd West, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

The Space

This is a Fabulous 2 Bedroom Flat in the Heart of Tourist area of Sheung Wan. Fully Furnished, large beds, all you need for great holiday.
The apartment is of walking distance to the underground train (MTR), the closest station is the Sheung Wan MTR Station. It is also easy to get to the Macau Ferry, Hollywood Road, top restaurants and so much more. There is great transportation everywhere; taxi, trams, MTR, buses and so much within walking distance.
Great security and lift goes to your floor. The apartment has Wifi for FREE, a hair dryer, iron and basic toiletries are all in the apartment when you arrive.

As a bonus, there is a NEW indoor swimming pool just across the street (access to everyone for HKD19 a time) and a lovely park just next to it. Many of my guests have loved these facilities right in the middle of the city.

**In the past I have borrowed out adapters for FREE to guests as a courtesy and convenience, however, too many have not been returned (over 50) and I can no longer keep up with restocking. Unfortunately, I can't provide these for free but if necessary, will sell them AT COST (@HKD20) instead. Sorry that this gesture failed.

  • easy checkin. very clean, beds are amazing. I stay at Starwood properties throughout the world and Brendan's beds beat the Starwood Heavenly Bed hands down! Great location and great Dim Sum right next to the HSBC behind the building. We took the trams during the weekend since there is a stop also right behind the building. We will stay here again. Bathroom a bit small but its Hong Kong and who spends much time in a bathroom anyways during holiday. Thank you Brendan!

  • The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We stayed there for 6 nights and there were four of us. It is a small apartment for four people so ideally two or three adults will be perfect size. Location is great, convenient store is just round the corner and within walking distance there are restaurants, banks and supermarket and also laundry service. We also went to Macau and find the location is very close to the ferry terminal only 10 mins walk from the apartment. MTR is also ten minutes walk from it. There are lots of traditional restaurants around, if you like yum cha and traditional Hong Kong style cafés, there are a few nearby.

The bathroom is very small and if you are of bigger size you may find it very challenging to shower in there. We had to brush our teeth in the kitchen as it is more spacious.

We didn't get to meet Brendan but his helper Michelle was there to meet us at the door when we arrived and she explained everything to us.

    I would recommend this apartment!

  • Clean. Comfortable beds. Nice location near ferries. Tram station very close. Very small bathroom area. Few TV channels.

  • The apt is well located and as we enjoy walking we found it easy to get to more central areas. Brendan gave of lots of helpful information to get there and had someone meet us. The only drawback was the size of the living room. We were 4 people in transit from a long holiday and our suitcases took up the whole room. The bathroom is tiny and the boiler only heats enough water for one and a half showers, so it takes a bit of time to start the day. The place is clean and the beds small but comfortable. It is a good budget value for a couple of nights. We feel we had a real Hong Kong living experience.

  • Good location, small unit, pissed about the crappy toilet

Stayed here from Feb 2-6. Here’s the scoop:

    Pros:
-Pretty good location as it was in Sheung Wan, which is just one stop to Central Station, where a lot of the action takes place in Hong Kong island and is also a transfer hub to other MTR lines
-We received extra towels and toilet paper upon request
-Brendan was kind enough to meet us at the unit to let us in after we arrived really late at 1:30am
-The doorman was kind enough to receive an important Fed Ex package for us while we were sightseeing.

    Cons:
-The toilet leaked used toilet water onto the floor upon every single flush. We had to mop up the floor ourselves numerous times per day and endure the smell of the wet mop and toilet water for our entire stay
-The unit is quite tiny, and not recommended to anyone with a larger body type.
-You’ll need to use the kitchen to store your toiletries and brush your teeth
-Be prepared for bathroom floor wet when showering as there’s only a small raised partition separating the shower from the rest of the floor

If you’re looking to value unit to save some money and help lower your trip expense, then this could be the unit for you. However it’s small, so what we saved in price we also felt was lost a bit in terms of size of the unit. I’d give the unit a rock solid 3 stars had the toilet been repaired, so make sure it’s fixed before staying.

  • The appartment was as described, we did have a little issue with the bathroom, and the place cets a little cold but everything else was working and it was honestly not a big deal, the location is not super central, but defs not far from public transport, Overall we enjoy our stay in his appartment

  • Walking from the MTR is some distance but not a problem if you’re just lodging for the night.

The great thing is that the tram to the heart of town is just a 2 minute walk away and it's a quick way to get to town too.

Apartment is cozy but perfectly good by Hong Kong standards, and facilities are satisfying, with fast wifi, working kitchen equipment and heated water.

This apartment is secure too with 24/7 security guard, locked gate and CCTV in common areas.

Definitely made ourselves at home staying here and would recommend it if you're holing up for the week in Hong Kong!

  • Brendan and his mum were uber awesome and helpful. My brother lost his passport in the cab, and Brendan and his mum did everything possible and helped us retrieve it back from the cab driver. They went above and beyond the responsibility of a host and for that we are extremely grateful.
The apartment itself was in a great location. Walking distance to the mtr station, about 10 mins. Cab drivers kept getting lost, but it was real simple once we got a feel of the location. Its also only about 7 mins walk to the ferry station to macau.
The apartment is cozy and sleeps 4 comfortably as the couch can be converted into a pull out bed. Wifi works well and so does the water heater. Toilet was tiny, but it's hong kong....brush your teeth in the kitchen!
Hong kong is not the friendliest city in the world, but Bren and his mum sure made us feel like it was. Thanks so much!

  • Great place, wonderful location. Brendan was a great host who answered all my pre-trip questions. Apartment was clean and perfect for two. Much better once we finally noticed the space heater and weren't freezing during the night. Loved the view. We watched the ICC light show and downloaded the app so we could hear the music. I highly recommend this Air bnb.
