Beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath villa located on the 5th hole of the Clipper Course in the private, gated Shipyard community. This 2 story townhouse has an incredible south facing deck with expansive views of the golf course and lagoons. The bright and open floor plan has considerable natural light, making Villa del Sol feel spacious and inviting. The many sliding glass doors create seamless indoor and outdoor living to enjoy the views and sunshine.
The space
Completely remodeled with modern, high-end finishes, this large 3 bedroom villa is the perfect home base for your Hilton Head Island getaway.
The large eat in kitchen with center island is well-stocked for cooking in or grilling out. The spacious and open living room has a large sectional sofa and 2 chairs and is adjacent to the den with additional seating and a small desk, ideal for working remotely or just catching up on emails.
The Villa sleeps up to 6 very comfortably with 3 bedrooms and a den that easily converts to a 4th bedroom with a full sofa bed. We do have a MAX of 6 guests total.
Primary Bedroom with King bed and en-suite bath with walk in shower.
Second Bedroom with Queen bed.
Third Bedroom with 2 Twin beds.
Full bath with tub/shower combination in upstairs hall and first floor powder room.
Amenities include WiFi, 3 flat screen Smart TVs (Hulu + Live TV provided), central air, ceiling fans in all 3 bedrooms, full size washer/dryer, gas grill, hair dryers, iron and toiletries (hand soap, shampoo/conditioner).
We provide ample supplies for your stay, including all linens, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, trash bags, sponge, paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, salt/pepper, foil/saran wrap, coffee filters, pots and pans for cooking.
After you reserve, we will send you a link to our digital guidebook which provides everything you need to know about the villa and things to do in the area, including beaches, restaurants and activities.

LOCATION
Villa del Sol is a short drive or bike ride to the many beaches (1.5 miles), restaurants and shopping on the island, but tucked away in a peaceful, relaxing environment with plenty of green, open spaces. Sit on the deck and watch the wildlife including turtles, deer and many species of birds. Bike to the beach on the scenic bike trails that run right outside your door. Use the private Beach Club parking access that is reserved exclusively for Shipyard Plantation’s guests. Take a short stroll to the community pool that overlooks the golf course. Guests will also have access to the Shipyard Golf facilities as well as the famous Van Der Meer tennis complex, both fee based.

Guests have access to the entire villa and all shared community spaces.
Other things to note
Once you reserve your stay, we will send you additional information as well as our rental agreement that needs to be returned within 48 hours with information on all guests that will be staying at the villa. Failure to return the signed agreement within 48 hours of booking may result in cancellation of your reservation.
Due to the warm climate and potential for pests, our complex provides extermination services inside the villa every other month on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. We will notify you when they will be spraying and respectfully request you let them in when they arrive. Please also note that, despite regular pest control, Hilton Head is a tropical location and has a variety of bugs and pests, including Palmetto bugs. If you see a dead bug, that means the extermination is working, not that the home is unclean.
Alligators make their habitats around Hilton Head. During the summer when they're out, stay at least 20 feet away and don't provoke them in any way. Please note It is also illegal to feed them.
Please note that our complex landscapers blow landscape debris from walkways and decks twice a week (typically Mondays and Fridays) to help keep the areas clean. So you will likely see and hear them these mornings.
Please note that you are allowed parking for up to 2 vehicles in the community, however, only 1 vehicle per villa is allowed parking at the Shipyard Beach Club. In addition, Shipyard Plantation does not allow certain vehicles into the community, including full size vans, RVs and motor boats.
Our story - We started visiting Hilton Head Island for Spring Break many years ago. We returned often for the beaches, golfing, biking and great weather. We recently decided to buy a property here so that we could visit the island as often as we liked. The more time we spend here, the more we love it.
Shipyard Plantation offers so much for owners and guests. The Beach Club beach access, Van der Meer tennis facilities, the Sonesta Resort, the miles of bike trails and the Shipyard golf facilities are available for your use and enjoyment (fee based). Even if you don’t play a round of golf, you can use the driving range, chipping green and putting green to improve your game. If you decide to golf, Shipyard offers 27 holes at very favorable rates for the area.
Villa del Sol shares the community pool that is open all year, but it is not heated.
We must also mention that the island has been known as a “foodie destination” and we are beginning to understand why. We have found an incredible array of food choices that seems overwhelming at times. There are plenty of choices for live music and nightlife as well.
Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable, relaxing environment so that our guests can get the best vacation experience possible. Villa del Sol is a place where you will make wonderful memories.
