Wills is the consummate host - I felt very welcome and completely at ease. Excellent communication throughout. Wills' knowledge of London is exemplary - great tips on things to see and do, places to eat and drink, how to get from A to B, etc. The flat is just delightful, in an excellent location (love love LOVE Kings Road and Chelsea) and very well serviced by all sorts of public transport. The room I slept in is utterly charming with a lovely big mirror above the dresser with power points close by for hair styling thingees. The bed is very comfortable with gorgeous linen, pillows and cushions - I slept like a baby. A lovely pot of tea in bed in the morning - brought in by by the incredibly gracious Wills - made me feel very special and a perfect start to the day. I really didn't want to leave. What a glorious haven in fabulous London. Thank you Wills! x
Our visit to London was most enjoyable due to our lovely host Wills and his comfortable accomadations at Cool Casa Chelsea. Wills went above and beyond to help make everyday in London optimal. From where to obtain the best curry or classic fish and chips, to the different modes of transportation, which are very close to his Flat. You can do any type of site seeing and get back for a rest and walk down the street later for a nice dinner. Bikes are easily attainable for lovely neighborhood or Hyde Park rides. Wills is a gracious and detailed host with the utmost in concern for you to experience the London that he loves so much.
Cool Casa Chelsea will be are go to when visiting London again.
I had such a great experience staying with Wills in September 2013 (see my last review) that I was quite eager to stay with him again for a couple of nights after the end of my business trip at the Hilton. As a single female traveller, he made me feel so welcome! For example, he treated me not only as a guest but as a friend by keeping me company and introducing me to his circle of friends at a fantastic dinner party. I was absolutely delighted to be a part of this! We also spent a rainy night in having dinner together and had a lovely brunch at the Bluebird cafe. Wills is attentive, passionate about London, and an engaging conversationalist on a variety of topics. Furthermore, he made thoughtful suggestions about things to do and helped with the logistics of my trip (e.g., planning my route, taxi pick-up, taking my bags, flexible with check-in and check-out). The neighbourhood, of course, is just stunning with fantastic places to eat and shop on Kings Road. His flat is also veryyyy comfortable and I just love the new design of the bedroom. In sum, the stay was PERFECT. Wills has really made me fall in love with London and I'm looking forward to returning to Cool Casa Chelsea and seeing him again in the near future. Thanks so much Wills for your gracious hospitality and the unforgettable experience!
Wills offered a great experience he is accurate, detailed, attentive to his hosts
Home is well located easy access
Very clean space, Wills keeps a great ch aging bedding sheets and towels even does cleaning clothings which is very useful.Beyond Wills a very travelled pleasant person , easy and interesting to talk to My stay which was quite long was really pleasant and easy .yes Wills is a super host
I highly recommend this place for your consideration. Wills is a great host. He goes to great lengths to ensure that your stay in comfortable. I happened to be in London on quite miserable wet days and always felt cold. Knowing this, Wills would turn on heating and prepare hot tea. I was very touched by this.
The room and the overall place is exactly as on the pictures. The flat is tidy and cosy. It is not on the ground floor though, so you do have to climb a few stairs up. Wills was kind enough to help me with my suitcase going up and down.
I would also like the stress the nice location of the house. Although it is not in walking proximity of a tube station, it is easy to reach by bus, which in my opinion is even better because buses in London have a good reach and is an excellent way to watch the city.
We spent 5 wonderful days at Wills Cool Casa. The flat is top clean and the location is just perfect. Chelsea is a great neighbourhood with lots of nice restaurants, cafes and shops. Wills is the best host you can imagine. He arranged a parking space (which is almost impossible to find), showed us around in Chelsea, made us breakfast, even did some laundry! He is a very nice man with a open and positive personality. Staying at his place was better than being in a 5 star hotel. We can highly recommend his flat! Thanks a lot Wills, it was great fun, I hope we see you again!
