  • Tor was extremely helpful as soon as I arrived at Sathorn Terrace.
Even tho there were some complications on the Air B&B webpage about paying for water and electricity Tor decided to give me the WiFi for free and made sure I was happy with the situation.
There was even a night where I drank till 8 am, got back to reception at Escape B&B and Tor and the house lady could see I was a bit worse for ware! They took me for something to eat and put me to bed!

    Now that's a great Landlord! :)
    Thanks again!

  • Everyone at Sathorn Terrace was delightful! From the front desk to the security to the maids, there was always a smile and a pleasant word. They always had excellent advice and went out of their way to help. Tor was the best host ever, and bent over backwards to accommodate me whenever I ran into trouble. I never had to worry about a thing while I was there.

Practical tips: it's 2 blocks to the skytrain and three blocks to the ferry. Main thoroughfare outside the skytrain means taxis are available in plenty. Tor will send you a very helpful map which you can show the taxi driver if you need help getting home in the wee hours. 7Eleven, a pharmacy and a big Robinsons with everything round the corner and lots of fruit and street food vendors. The quieter rooms face Sirocco but if you don't mind a bit of noise, then the street facing rooms have a balcony, which is nice. Everything is super clean (no bugs! good quality linen!) and you only have to ask for help to be provided.

  • Tor is a great host and travel advisor. He helped us get what we came for-an authentic Thai experience filled with local food and Thai massage all within walking distance. There was no request that couldn't be filled. Thank you Tor!

  • My wife and I had a great time staying at Sathorn Terrace Bangkok and it was made all the better by Tor and the very helpful and polite people in the complex. We were greeted when we first arrived and even though it was late Tor was kind enough to walk us to a local Thai place for dinner. The place is super close to the BTS and river and was a great base for our time in Bangkok. Tor helped us plan our days which was great and we also managed to find a few hidden gems in the area including a great bar/shack/pier on the water next to the Shangri La hotel and a great hole in the wall restaurant called Prachak which is on the main rd near the apartment. The bed was a little hard but it didn't make the experience any less enjoyable. Would highly recommend staying here if you come to Bangkok.

  • Tor was such a wonderful host, he was friendly, wanted the best out of our short stay, and showed us around Bangkok a bit. The wifi was a bit shotty, but other than that my stay was wonderful!

  • My stay with Tor was enjoyable and I recommend staying at the Escape to anyone that wishes to have a comfortable, safe and welcoming stay in Sathorn, Bangkok. The location is fantastic, just a 3 minute walk from a hypermarket, a bazzaar, the river pier, bus stops and the ever-convenient Skytrain.

I had many questions before and during my stay. Tor and his staff were always willing to help and also provide valuable recommendations.

  • I stayed here with my boyfriend while we were waiting for our Myanmar visas (the embassy is nearby) and we both felt very at home. Tor was a fantastic host! He and his staff were always available and thoughtful. The Sathorn Terrace building is very close to the BTS Saphan Taksin station, and the Central Pier for traveling by ferry, so you can get anywhere as a tourist very easily. The apartment itself is very spacious with great a/c, shower, fridge, kitchen sink/counter space, tv, and wifi. We even did laundry downstairs before we left. Great place. Thank you, Tor!

  • Tor was a most gracious host. He lives in the building (website hidden) help is merely a phonecall away. The building is close to the pier for boat access and the skytrain. There are heaps of Streetfood nearby. Not many foreigners in this area. Great value for the cost! Highly recommended.
