No pets, no smoking. Unfortunately, we are not set up to accept ambulatory children under 5. Maximum 1-month stay with occasional exceptions.
The house will be yours. It is well-equipped for cooking, relaxing and being together. There are no tv's so as to encourage guest interaction. Wifi is all set up for you. You can confirm key exchange with us a few days prior to your arrival.

We are happy to respond to any questions in person, by phone, text or email. We or our property manager are readily available to you.
The Arnada neighborhood is Vancouver's oldest and the best walking neighborhoood, with historic houses in abundance. Downtown Vancouver offers plenty to do weekends and some week nights.
Our house is comfortable and cozy, just a block from the neighborhood park and playground, 4 blocks from Main Street and Starbucks, 2 blocks from Interstate 5, and 1 mile north of the Columbia River, which separates Washington from Oregon. We're 1.5 miles from Officers Row and Fort Vancouver, established in 1825 and from which the Pacific Northwest was settled.
Walking distance to many restaurants, brew pubs and downtown Vancouver.

4 blocks to brewpub, Starbucks, local coffee shops, local bakery.

We are most likely to accept guests who have been verified, have descriptive profile information and provide their reason for travel when they contact us. Since we began in 2012, we've hosted wonderful people from Germany, England, The Netherlands, Argentina, Cuba, China, Hong Kong, Iran, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Australia and the U.S. Our historic Vancouver neighborhood is a peaceful escape from the bustle but close enough for easy access. Lost key fee is $50/key
No more than 10 people may stay here though the house is fine for quiet entertaining of up to 15-20 with free on-street parking.
We are an active family of 4 who relish meeting new people. As 20-year Vancouver residents, we'd be happy to share with you all that we know about the area. From the 17 wineries now in Clark County, Washington (one in our family) to the array of cultural events in nearby Portland, OR, we look forward to sharing our house and surroundings with you. We enjoy hiking, biking, tennis, traveling, musical events, words, philosophy, books, winery and brewery tours, organic cooking and dining, farmers' markets and more.
