This listing:
“The Artists Loft/Gallery” has three bedrooms and one bath and you get the entire apartment to yourself.

Great Location:
My loft is a ten minute walk to the 18th street subway station (Chicago Transit Authority [CTA] Pink Line). The neighborhood has a vibrant Hispanic community and is full of galleries, vintage shops, and unique murals. Within walking distance of my apartment are great restaurants, grocery store, taquerías, bars, artist studios, coffee shops, the National Museum of Mexican Art, and the Chicago Arts District. The neighborhood is very safe and welcoming. Pilsen offers an exclusive nightlife, like no other neighborhood in Chicago. It is a very bicycle and pedestrian friendly area. I am 3.5 miles from Millenium Park.

Convenient Transportation:
From my apartment you can easily walk or catch a bus or “the L” train to destinations like UIC, University Village, McCormick Center, the Medical District, and Downtown Chicago. The Pink Line is a short 10 min. walk from my building. The Chicago Transportation Authority lists bus and train schedules on their website.

Drivers -Free street parking is generally available on Carpenter Street and 16th Street. Be mindful of posted street cleaning days during which parking is prohibited. Parking on 17th street is by permit only. Parking tickets in Chicago are $60 per ticket. I offer a private parking space behind my building for $20 a day.

Taxi-Taxicab fare from O’hare airport is $40 and from Midway airport is $20. A taxi to Millenium Park would be $12

“The Artists Loft/Gallery” offers the perfect home base whether you are in Chicago for a business trip, family vacation or you are booking accommodations for your employees for a conference. “The Artists Loft/ Gallery” is located on the ground floor at the back of the building. You need to use the back entrance if you don’t want to use the stairs. It has 3 bedrooms, two private bedrooms and one semi private loft space and 1 full bathroom with tub/shower. I only use 100% cotton sheets and towels. My apartment has central heat and AC, ceiling fans, 3 Queen-sized beds, wireless internet, and a lending library. There is a coin operated laundry room in the building. I also provide an iron, ironing board, and a hairdryer.

Room Number 1 ~ The Sunrise Room has a very comfortable pillow-top queen size bed and a vintage chair, vintage school desk as a nightstand, lamp, and a closet for hanging your garments. This bright room with a 15' ceiling and exposed brick walls has beautiful silk curtains, a mirror, and a remote controlled ceiling fan.

Room Number 2 ~The Sunset Room has a very comfortable queen size bed, an upholstered chair, and vintage school desks as night stands. There is also a mirror, ample lighting, and a closet for hanging your garments. The room has exposed brick walls and a 15' ceiling with a remote controlled ceiling fan.

Room Number 3 ~ The Artist Loft Suite:
The Loft Suite is located on the second floor of the apartment. It is a cozy loft space with a half-wall overlooking the dining room. Frosted vintage windows create a semi-private wall. The loft has a comfortable queen size bed, a comfortable chair, a handcrafted maple coffee table, a mirror, a floor fan, and an armoire for hanging your garments.

  • Everyone loved the apartment and the art in it. Everything was very clean and tidy and the bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was great for breakfast every morning. Convenient parking is available, and it's in a great location. Highly recommended.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Nicole's loft. It is clean, spacious and comfortable and is filled with great art and architectural details. Nicole is an excellent host and made sure that we had everything we needed and were oriented to the neighborhood. Speaking of the neighborhood, Pilsen is fascinating and fun. It is primarily traditional Mexican-American, but there is also a layer of eclecticism - kind of like Guadalajara meets Brooklyn. We loved it here and will be back for sure! Thank you Nicole!

  • Great location, close to downtown, fun neighborhood. Nicole gave us suggestions on where to go and what to see. The breakfast place on the corner was well worth the visit. She accommodated all our needs and was super fun. We had a late flight and she was able to let us leave our baggage so we didn't have to tote it around, this was certainly going above and beyond. Highly recommend the loft and would stay again. Loved Nicole!

  • Nicole' s apt was comfortable, clean and convenient and perfect for 3 adults. She is helpful without being intrusive. One of us was uncertain if it was the right place but quickly warmed to the apt and neighborhood. The 16/18 bus is just across the street and one gets a quick ride to Michigan Ave. Good value.

  • Nicole gave very clear instructions from the beginning and communicated quickly and efficiently. She gave great recommendations for the area and allowed us the space to discover it on our own. The apartment was perfect for us (three single men), quiet and with lots of space. The whole experience from start to finish was impeccable.
    No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended!

  • lovely place to stay! wonderfully host! we can really recommend this artist lift in Chicago. clean, great beds, near to down town. thank you very much Nicole. kind regards ray, Nicole, colin and Dylan from cologne Germany

  • Nicole's apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped with lots of useful brochures about Chicago, taxi numbers, local restaurant recommendations etc. Its in the Pilsen district and convenient for the pink ‘L’line to get into Chicago city, a 10minute walk away up a straight road. Top tip - if you have heavy luggage - its easier accessing the apartment from the back door so you don't need to lug cases up and down stairs unnecessarily! Great stay all in all.
