The space
A hillside retreat that embraces slow living.
Our house was designed for "slow living" and visual calm blended with modern comfort. It is architecturally oriented to capture a full 180° arc of the Algarve landscape, stretching from the mountains to the Atlantic Ocean, and features curated heritage elements such as old stone walls and organic local Santa Catarina tiles.
It's a south-facing, comfortable and cosy house, where you can relax and unwind while observing and connecting with nature. Large windows face east, allowing the sunrise to enter the living room and the primary bedroom directly. You can watch the day begin over the hills without leaving your bed.
The southern side of the house features the main entrance and smaller, intentional windows that provide consistent natural light while maintaining the home naturally cool in summer.
The patio and spring-water pool area wrap from the East through to the West. This ensures you have sun on the terrace all day, culminating in sunset views over the ocean in winter, and over the hills in summer, as the sun shifts north.
Interior - Comfort & Cosiness
The common space's open-plan design combines the living room and dining room, integrating the area with a roofed terrace and a scenic view. Large windows bring views of the authentic Algarvian landscape and the beauty of nature to the house's interior.
The house is tastefully decorated with vintage designer furniture and modern comfort pieces.
The house features two bedrooms, a bathroom, a newly renovated kitchen, dining room, tv room, spacious living room with a dedicated work space and a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean and surrounding hills.
We have installed a top-tier, professional-grade air conditioning system throughout the entire house. Each bedroom and all common living areas are individually zoned, allowing you to set the perfect temperature for your specific space. Even on the warmest Algarve nights, the units provide a steady, gentle cooling without the distracting hum of standard AC units. Whether you are sleeping or reading in the lounge, the climate control remains a silent, invisible background feature of the house.
The kitchen was recently renovated to a high standard.
The bathroom is a meticulously preserved Portuguese heritage suite with original blue porcelain fixtures and classic blue-and-white tiling. High-speed Wi-Fi (300+ Mbps) is available if you need to stay connected or work remotely. We’ve provided a collection of local literature to help you unplug, yoga mats, and a guide to the quietest local walking trails.
Exterior - Sun, Shade & Relaxation
The outdoor space features a private pool and a patio filled with exotic plants. The patio floors feature traditional hand-pressed Santa Catarina clay tiles.
The house is surrounded by a pristine dry Algarvian garden. Carob trees, olives, and wild succulents provide a natural habitat for local wildlife.
Outside, the scenic view can be enjoyed from the terrace, rooftop and patio, which is equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture. Our private pool uses our own spring water, offering a softer, chemical-reduced swimming experience. The filtration system is high-spec and silent, ensuring the hillside's peace is not interrupted.
Nature & Peacefulness
It's a place where you can clear your mind, relax, recharge your batteries, and enjoy peace and privacy without any disturbances. You can enjoy the sound of cicadas, the Atlantic breeze, and the stars at night.
Our place will be ideal for a couple, two couples travelling together, or a family of three or four to enjoy a peaceful holiday together.
Algarve's best location - Close to amenities and perfect for exploring the region from the East to the West
The location in the heart of the Algarve gives you easy access to many tourist attractions, beautiful beaches, charming towns, villages, restaurants, bars, golf courses, supermarkets, and commercial centres (10-15 min by car). The free highway entrance is just 5 minutes away. You can explore both the East Coast (30 minutes) and the West Coast (40 minutes).
Our house is nestled in a small enclave of a few villas (spaced out, with a lot of privacy), surrounded by authentic Algarvian nature, carob trees, olive trees, wild thyme and lavender. Our neighbourhood has a few nice paths nearby for morning or evening walks. The area is a natural habitat of chameleons, and you might be lucky enough to spot one!

You can use the entire property—the house, the rooftop, the pool, and the garden—except for the garage building and one built-in wardrobe in the second bedroom, where we store baby accessories.
Other things to note
This house is not a typical vacation rental house or "Airbnb" as you know it. This is our carefully curated property, and it's for a maximum of 4 guests.
This house is comfortable, filled with modern daily living essentials and unique design pieces, and we kindly ask all guests to treat them with care during their stay.
This house will only be available for rent for a limited period of time, so please enjoy it while you can. :)
There is a tourist tax that we need to collect from all the guests visiting the Algarve - it is paid in cash upon arrival. High Season: March 1st – October 31st €2.00 per person per night.
Low Season: November 1st – February 28th/29th €1.00 per person per night.
Maximum charge: The maximum tax for a single stay is equivalent to 7 consecutive nights (e.g., max €14 in high season, max €7 in low season).
The location is in the countryside, so you will need a car, but it's very close to towns, supermarkets, restaurants and even a shopping centre (10 min).
This is a perfect place for those who don't want to be surrounded by urban infrastructure, loud streets, busy roads, tourist facilities, and people.
Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the house.
The house is suitable for a maximum of 4 guests. The introductory price is for two guests. For 3 or 4 guests, the price slightly increases (there is a fee).
All guests must be registered on the booking. No other people are allowed to stay in the house.
We closely monitor guest count and noise levels out of respect for our wonderful neighbours.
For parents with little kids - this house has a few places with steps, terraces and a pool. Children must be supervised at all times in these areas for their safety.
The pool doesn't have a protective fence. It is featured in several photos, so we kindly ask guests to determine for themselves if this is suitable for their children.
Camper vans are not allowed for stays in the property or near the property.
We do not permit camper vans to perform any maintenance on our property, including using our electricity or water. We don't allow tents in the garden.
