The Space

I have a space available in the upstairs area of my home. It has two bedrooms that would have a shared bathroom. There is also a "living" style loft space. Linens and towel will be provided. When you book with me, you will have the ENTIRE 2nd floor to yourself. I do not book each room individually. Bedroom #1 has a FULL size bed and bedroom #2 has a QUEEN size bed. I do have a queen and twin air mattress that can be used as well. I can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people (with "real beds", but I have hosted up to 6 folks at one time utilizing the air beds). I would be happy to discuss hosting more than four people on a case by case bases. There would be an extra charge for more than 4 guest. WiFi is available. If needed you will be able to have access to the kitchen and washer/dryer. I have a nice big back yard with a patio and a hammock. I will consider pets on a case by case bases. There is off street parking for up to 3 cars. My home is located in historic East Nashville (Inglewood). My neighborhood is very quite at night and in the mornings. It is in walking distance (less than a half mile) to public transportation (buses), and only four miles from Downtown Nashville. I would love for you to visit Nashville! East Nashville has a lot of fun restaurants and bars (a few are even featured on the new show "Nashville").
I have hosted guest from over twenty states and five countries. I really love meeting new people!
There is NO SMOKING inside the house; however, feel free to smoke outside on the patio.
I am a pet owner. I have a small dog (yorkie) named Dexter. He is very well behaved and friendly! He loves meeting new people!

Check In
  • Ashley's has a charming home conveniently located to excellent eating places and getting around Nashville. It was spacious and had everything needed to be very comfortable for our 3 day stay. We would recommend without any hesitation if stairs were not a problem. Ashley accommodated easily our late night arrival and was easy to communicate with.

  • This was pretty darn perfect for my needs! I met my best friend in Nashville for a long weekend and this two room suite with adjoining bathroom was ideal for what we needed. The rooms were clean, cool, and comfortable. A lot of the touristy things we were doing were not in this neighborhood, so we expected a 15-20 minute drive to most things, but that wasn't really a problem, especially since there was an off-street parking space available.

The neighborhood was not necessarily the quietest (lots of train whistles, bass thumping from car radios, and dogs barking), but it was definitely quieter than it would have been if we'd stayed downtown!!

Ashley was very responsive in her emails to me and was very accommodating to our arrival and departure times. This was my first airbnb experience and I found it to be a great one. I'll definitely be back.

  • My Grandson and I were so pleased to find this place! It was so comfortable, clean and welcoming. The neighborhood was very quiet and quite nice. Ashley, was so helpful before we came (as we had never been to Nashville before) and also while we were there. The beds were so comfortable, the rooms and bathroom were so clean. It was really a pleasure to stay here, just like coming home. When we come back, this is definitely where we will stay!

  • Ashley is a great host! She is very responsive and kind to our questions and to us. She has everything ready for you when you arrive. We had 6 people staying at her house and she was able to accommodate all of us. She had a queen and twin air mattress ready with sheets for extra people. The house is very clean and you have access to the kitchen and washer and dryer. She even had a Keurig machine in the bathroom upstairs with coffee and hot chocolate for us to have (we didn't use it though). I did not see her much since we were so busy exploring Nashville and having a good time at the CMA Music Festival. We were always excited to have a nice home, bed, bathroom, etc. to come back to. Will be going back again!

  • Ashley was great! Her house is lovely too. We arrived fairly late and she was so accommodating about it. A great host all-around. We would definitely stay with her again!
PS: If you're a coffee lover and find yourself at Ashley's in East Nashville, check out Barista Parlour!

  • This was absolutely perfect! It really felt like we had our own apartment for the weekend, and Ashley (and her little pup!) were so friendly and accommodating. She had great suggestions for places in the area to go, and we could not have asked for a better first experience with Airbnb.

  • Ashley's house is fantastic! Everything was spotless and we felt very welcomed by a great host. Dexter even warmed to us eventually! Can't recommend highly enough.

  • Ashley's Chic Retreat was lovely and she was a wonderful host! Immediately after booking she communicated the details of an easy check-in which went exactly as indicated. The couple times that we crossed paths with Ashley, her roommate and another friend, they were all super friendly and welcoming. More often, though, since they have their lives and we were out exploring, when we were relaxing at the house in between outings, it felt like we had a private serene space upstairs, including a sitting area, and the back patio was very shady and relaxing as well. It was nice to find this space for such a reasonable price. If you decide to stay with Ashley you will definitely enjoy a quiet neighborhood with easy access to East Nashville, downtown, and anywhere in the area you with to explore.

  • Had a great time here. Ashely accommodated our three motorcycles (one with a trailer) with ease. The space was perfect for the three of us. It was very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the quiet backyard patio with the little bit of down time we had. We spent some time exploring downtown and made a stop at the Gaylord Hotel. But perhaps what was more fun, was a visit to an area called five points approximately 5 miles away. It is a small square with good restaurants, fun pubs and cool people. Thanks Ashely.

I am a super happy go lucky kind of girl. I love to travel, and I have used airbnb many times to book my accommodations for my weekends away and vacation. My favorite city is Chicago! I love being outdoors! I love musicals, and live music (which there is TONS in Nashville). I have little doggie, Dexter. He is a yorkie--and Yes, I am a HUGE fan of the show Dexter. I work for an amazing company--Hanger Clinic. I measure and fit people with orthotic (back braces, knee braces, ect) and prosthetic devices. I absolutely love my career! I bought my house over two years ago. I love being a homeowner, and I really enjoy living in East Nashville. I was born and raised in South Mississippi, but I have lived in Chicago, Lafayette, LA, and of course--Nashville!
