I have 2 beautiful cottages situated in acres of stunning rural Irish countryside. This listing is for one of my cottages - if you need both then please check out my other listing!
The cottages comprise an en-suite master bedroom, second bedroom with a double and single bed, spacious open plan living and dining area, and a sun lounge which can be converted into a third bedroom if required. A wood burning stove adds ambience, particularly on cold and blustery evenings! Cottages have all mod cons including central heating, power/electric showers, internet access, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, TV and coffee maker. Fresh towels and bed linen are included in the rental price!
This is a rural location, so your own transport is essential... but once you get to Crockatinney you are guaranteed peace, quiet and time to reflect or just be together with your loved ones. Your neighbours include Rusty the Rooster and Clyde the Goat - a comic duo if ever there was one! A herd of donkeys, two horses and several ponies also call Crockatinney home. You are welcome to visit Crockatinney Stables and help groom our horses!
The cottages are just 12 km from the world famours Giant's Causeway and 4 km from the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. The famed Glens of Antrim are also just a short drive away. Northern Ireland's two cities - Belfast and Derry - are each approximately 1 hour from Crockatinney Cottages.
The cottages are set in idyllic surroundings, which include a 19th Century Famine Graveyard and stonewalls, a fishing lake stocked with rainbow and brown trout (fly fishing permitted on catch & release basis), children's play area and private car parking.
I am always on hand to answer any questions you have, about Crockatinney, or the area, and will gladly help you draw up an itinerary that incorporates your interests!

The northern coast of Ireland is in my mind the most beautiful areas of the island, and these Irish Cottages are an idyllic spot to take them in. With a view of the ocean (and Scotland), you can be content staying in, but there are great hiking paths and sites to be seen.
As another comment mentioned the location is a bit tricky to find, but it is very conveniently located yet remote enough to have privacy.
Roisin was very pleasant and helpful in making sure the place was set up for our maximum comfort. She was excellent as was our stay.
Really lovely place to stay, great views, nice and warm, all the rooms are big and spacious. Clean and bright. Was perfect for our few days exploring the coast. Would definitely go back
My parents stayed at Roisin's cottage and said it was lovely. Nice warm fire and amazing views apparently. You could see Scotland from the cottage! Roisin was apparently very nice and helpful and they felt very comfortable. They'd recommend it.
This is a fabulous place in N. Ireland. The house is situated on a private lane so it is very quiet. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a sun room that can convert into a third bedroom. Roisin was not there when we arrived but she left a note on the door welcoming us as well as a list of things we may want to do and see while there. Roisin arrived a short time later to welcome us in person. The house was spotlessly clean. One lady in our group took an interest in one of the table lamps and asked Roisin where she got it. Roisin made a phone call to see if they were still available for purchase. I can't say enough about the house, location or host!
There were only two minor negative. First, the house if a wee bit difficult to find, even with my GPS. The GPS said that we had arrived at the destination but there was only fields. It was still a few blocks down the road. It is a private lane with two buildings (this is actually a twin home). I stopped at the last house and asked directions. The second issue is that it has a clothes washer but no dryer. We had to spread our clothes out on the drying rack and on the radiators. Oh well, nothing too horrendious.

I work in the hospitality and tourism industry in Northern Ireland. I'm a keen horsewoman and animal lover. However subdued and rural that all sounds... I love lively nightlife and NYC is still my favorite city in the world! I lived there for two years in my early 20s and still like to visit!
