NOUS PARLONS FRANCAIS.

Our cute, quiet, cozy chalet is in a residential neighborhood 1/2 mile from the water (the sound). Our place is great for couples with kids at least 8 years of age (or babies not yet crawling) or for friends. We have 2 beds, so can accommodate 4 people, but if you don't mind being a bit squeezed, you could put a 5th person on a mattress on the floor.
We have what you need for a comfortable, fun, relaxing stay: microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, mini fridge, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, silverware, dish towels, paper towels. Our chalet is next to our house, and has its own private entrance and parking in our driveway. There's a super comfortable queen bed in the main room, and a double bed in the loft. Sheets, bedspreads and bath towels are (website hidden) has only a few channels since we don't have (website hidden) enthusiasts be advised :-)
We are just 5 miles to Clearwater Beach (10 minutes without traffic), 8 miles to Honeymoon Island & Caledisi Island (voted in top 10 beaches in US), and 1.5 miles to downtown Dunedin, with its quaint boutiques, restaurants and marina. Tarpon Springs, "the sponge capital of the world," is a 20-minute drive north, with lots of Greek restaurants, shops, and of course, natural (website hidden). Petersburg and Tampa are each 30 minutes away. You can drive 1 minute to the water's edge and watch osprey and pelicans dive for their breakfast.
Bus stop is 1 block away. The area is great for cycling, and there are many bike rental places nearby, and also a place that sells refurbished bikes if you're here for a while.

Interaction with Guests
I am available if you need me for anything -- questions about the neighborhood or area, help with the chalet, or even to chat over a cup of coffee if you want. Don't hesitate to text, email or call me.
I love how close we are to the beach (10-minute drive with no traffic), that Dunedin with its shops & cafes is only a 2-minute drive, and that we are only 5 blocks from the water, where you can walk or bike ride. We are also just 3 blocks from the Pinellas Trail, which is a paved trail extending the entire length of Pinellas County, which is used for walking, running, rollerblading and cycling.
The best way to get around is by car. You have your own parking spot here, which is free. The airport is about a 30-minute drive from the chalet. There are buses but the routes are limited.
Please treat our guesthouse like you would your own home. Smoke only outside.
CLEANING FEE $35. DUE IN CASH AT CHECK-IN.
Make sure to close the gate when you enter and leave.
Please put all empty food containers in CLOSED bags before you put them in the trash.
I loved my stay at this location. Anna was very polite and helpful. She has a beautiful chalet that was very clean and comfortable.
We, my wife and I, had a really relaxing Spring Break in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Anna's chalet perfectly suited our needs. Centrally located in very friendly neighborhood, we rolled out of bed in our own time and enjoyed the beach, sushi restaurants, Tarpon Springs, bagels for breakfast all within close driving distance. The chalet was really cute. Nicely decorated and comfortable. The description and pictures accurately portrayed the apartment. The backyard was beautiful, the setting was tranquil, quiet, and very relaxing. Anna was a wonderful host, always available yet respectful of our space and privacy.
Anna was such a gracious host. She provided us with so much information about the area. We even had a change to enjoy our morning coffee together one day. There is so much to do in the area that we didn't spend much time at her place. I wish I could've visited with her more.
Anna was very informative about the area and she was very nice. The chalet came equipped with a book of good places to eat and fun things to do written by previous guests.
It is a small place but it was all we needed. Our daughter loved sleeping in the little nook at the top of the ladder or" the tree house" as she called it.
The bed was comfortable, the wifi was easy to hook on to, the chalet was clean.
Clearwater beach was a 10 min drive away. Honeymoon beach was the same distance in the other direction. The Sunsets at these beaches were incredible!!!
The chalet was a nice place to come back to after a long day at the beach.
Anna was such a terrific host and right away proved to be a genuine and caring person. Upon arrival, Anna was there to greet and show us the place. We immediately adored the chalet as soon as we set foot in it! It's exactly as shown in the pictures with the addition of a fairly sized corner table where we ate some of our meals and where the tv sits. There was also a closet with a shoe rack and hangers which I was very pleased with to hang my dresses! Anna took her time to thoroughly explain and go over the house and answer any questions that we had. The neighbourhood is convenient, cute, quiet and very friendly! We would always get caught up talking to people on our walk as we made our way to downtown Dunedin. The chalet is very private and Anna does a great job at respecting that but I certainly enjoyed running into her here and there on our way in and out because she really is a great person and goes the extra mile to foster a friendship beyond the host-guest dynamic! I would definitely recommend this place and know I will be returning in the future. Fantastic experience. Thank you again Anna for everything! It is much appreciated and will always be remembered :)
Anna's chalet is wonderfully situated (easy access to a number of beaches, as well as to Clearwater and Dunedin both (good for exhibition baseball). Well furnished, clean and very private. Anna made me feel welcome, and supplied a good deal of information on the area that was very useful for biking, shopping, sightseeing and so forth.
Anna was very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. She was in contact with us from the get go and was always available to answer any questions. The chalet is cozy and in an excellent location - we were able to access the Pinellas Trail within a couple of blocks and biked everywhere, from Clearwater beach, to downtown Dunedin and Honeymoon Island. Kitchen was well equipped and stocked with coffee, filter paper, seasonings, mini fridge/freezer, etc. Bathroom was equipped with towels, shampoo, aloe vera lotion. Plush bed/ bedding and the air conditioner and fan made for comfortable sleeps. Will stay here again!

I love meeting new people, and traveling to new places to learn about our big world. Favorite travel destinations: Bora Bora, Paris, Brittany (France), Tiradentes (Brazil), Florence, Italy. I lived in France, Italy, Vietnam and Brazil because I love learning about other places and cultures. Through these experiences, I have learned to speak fluent French, and am able to carry on simple conversation in Spanish and Portuguese.
It is so fun hosting on Airbnb because I get to meet people from all over the world. So far we've had people from Spain, Germany, England, Iran, Estonia, Canada and different places in the U.S. our Airbnb properties are open to all, regardless of nationality, race, sexual orientation, creed, or religion. We are all individuals, and that's what makes our world interesting!
I love the outdoors, and my favorite thing about Florida is all the flora and fauna. I've never seen so many different animals in all my life! We have the largest concentration of bald eagles in all of the lower 48 states. Plus we have all types of birds, reptiles, etc.
I hope you can come enjoy all that Florida has to offer. It's well worth it. I am around if you have questions about the area. Feel free to call, text or email.
