It is a one mile hike, ski or snowshoe uphill to our cozy Vermont cabin nestled in the woods of the Sleepy Hollow trails. With a breathtaking view of Camel's Hump, bunk-beds for 8, a wood fireplace and access to Sleepy Hollow's ski, snowshoe, hiking and biking trails, it's the perfect place for any group and any occasion.
*Please check the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development for the most recent travel requirements if you are from out of state.

The space
The cabin is a 1 mile cross country ski/snowshoe/hike/bike from the Sleepy Hollow Inn Ski & Bike Center. You must snowshoe or ski up in the winter. It is carry in and carry out for all your belongings since vehicles are not permitted on the trails. In the winter, 4 ski/snowshoe passes are included in the price of the cabin! In the winter Extra people are $20 each and that includes their ski/snowshoe passes. Snowshoers go on separate trails than the skiers. No walking or snowshoeing on the groomed ski trails. Check in is after 2pm and check out is 11am. Day time check in is strongly encouraged!!! Check in is the Kiosk by the inn door. Maps and covid forms are located there.

Guest access
Guests enjoy full use of the cabin, porch and outhouse. There are some day users who hike or bike to the cabin and sometimes like to come onto the porch to enjoy the view. Cabin guests can put a sign out (sign located in cabin) to discourage porch visitors.

Other things to note
There is no electricity or running water at the cabin. It does have a lovely outhouse (bring TP). Firewood is provided for the cabin, but we recommend bringing newspaper and matches. If you are staying multiple nights you may have other people enjoying the trails at Sleepy Hollow come on to the porch to see the view. You can put a sign up to say Cabin Reserved to prevent this. Dogs are allowed in the summer, but not in the winter. When arriving, park in the parking lot of Sleepy Hollow Inn, Ski and Bike Center. There are 2 common ways to get to the cabin. For skiing you can follow Bishop trail (wider ski trail), which starts in Molly's Meadow. Alternatively you can snowshoe or hike up the singletrack called Skywalker. It starts in the back of the main parking lot at Sleepy Hollow. There is a big trailhead sign there, and Skywalker is blazed with green paint and green arrows. No driving or ATV's allowed to get to cabin, you must hike/bike/ski/ or snowshoe in. No snowshoeing or hiking on the ski trails.
