This newly freshened, mid-century home is located in the city limits of Manchester, KY, a Trail Town. It sits just a few hundred feet from the Salt Works Village and boat ramp to Goose Creek. It is a short walk or drive to one of our many swinging bridges, the Clay County Historical Society, and a number of restaurants, stores, and churches. A five minute drive can have you to the Federal Correctional Institute, AdventHealth Manchester Hospital, or Beech Creek Campground and Lake.

Near the many interesting things we have in Clay County: Red Bird Rock featuring ancient petroglyphs, Land of the Swinging Bridges, Salt Works Village, Manchester Music Fest, Single Action Sharp Shooters, Ponderosa Pines, Miles and miles of ATV, hiking, and horse trails, Beech Creek Campground, Bert T Combs Lake, Fishing, Hunting, FCI Manchester, AdventHealth Manchester Hospital, Clay County Sports, Pat’s World Famous Snack Bar, Red Bird Wildlife Management Area, Crest Trail, Red Bird Mission, and Oneida Baptist Institute and much more.

My husband and I are empty nesters who went out on a limb and bought an elderly friend's house. We have spent the last year bringing it back to life in the spare moments between work and family functions. We've tried to maintain much of its original appeal in honor of our friends who lived there before. At times we thought we'd lost our minds but it has really been fun. We are now anxious to share it with new people. We still have a little to do outside so will be updating pictures as we go.
