Chilled out, cosy and friendly London pad. Converted Victorian terrace gives a real London feel and with all mod cons. Great cafes, restaurants, shops and excellent transport links from Finsbury Park station, all just five minutes away.
Pleasant, good size, light and airy double room perfect to retire to after a day at work or being out and about. Oxford Circus is a tube ride away! The apartment is on split-levels with the two bedrooms on the top floor; and the kitchen, bathroom and living room on the second floor. I love art so there are prints, posters and paintings around the place. There is access to the sunny garden from the communal hallway.
**Please 'Contact Me' with any enquiries for specific dates e.g. a festival weekend or event.
Cosy and spacious living room, hygienic bathroom, the kitchen for light cooking (inc. microwave), also use of the washer. Then of course the bedroom pictured, with the (memory foam mattress, i.e. very comfy) double bed. A good nights sleep is important after sightseeing in Piccadilly Circus or Trafalgar Square. There is also a TV in the room. Bonus!
Interaction with Guests
The flat is occupied by the host and two friendly cats and the room is available immediately for a single female or male (no couples). Professional, student or traveller. Ideally, friendly, independent, tidy and respectful. If coming from abroad as a tourist there's lots to do in London and the local area for all budgets - Buckingham Palace to Brick Lane Market!
We have great, urban-village-like local amenities. There are excellent cafes, restaurants, and pubs in the nearby vicinity. A supermarket and independent greengrocers for food shopping and also hair salons, barbers and the long standing New Beacon Bookshop all located along Stroud Green Road. Crouch End, Primrose Hill, Regents Park, Hampstead Heath and Angel Islington with the Sunday Farmer's Market are all 20 minutes away by bus, half that by car. Please click on the Guidebook link, top right to get you started.
The flat is located 5 minutes from Finsbury Park tube and train station - 15 mins to Oxford Circus, 10 mins from Kings Cross St Pancras on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines; also the London Overground from Highbury. Excellent transport links for getting around London (personally, I love it)!

This was my first Airbnb experience. I truly enjoyed staying at Esther, she is a very down to Earth person and has a nice place ! Location was super, 5 minutes away from tube and a few stops away from all the central places. Also bed was super comfy :)) thank you Esther, take care xx
Esther has a lovely home in a super location nice and close to tube, Finsbury park and some nice cafes and restaurants. Friendly welcome and clean cool flat. Great experience!
Stayed for a week, booked the night before. Very helpful and understanding and very neat, clean and beautiful home.
I have spent last month in London, living a wonderful and incredible dream and Esther was a very important part in it! I couldn't be happier with my decision regarding my stay with her. She made my home away from home, not only because of her beautiful place but also because she was so friendly and warm, it was always a pleasure to talk to her and she was ready to help me anytime I needed her. What else could I have asked for? The flat has an amazing location, near everything, with a train, bus and tube station just a few minutes away, so moving around London is very easy! And I did move around a lot! The bedroom (that was "my bedroom") and, especially, its bed, deserves a word apart: heaven! After walking around as much as I did, getting home (as I felt the flat was since day 1), having an exquisite shower and going to that delightful bed was the best way to end a glorious London day! And the view from the window left me breathless every time I looked at it. Also, I had the opportunity to meet some of her friends and family in a few occasions and found them to be a reflection of Esther, it was so easy to get along with them as well! And her cats too! They were there in those moments when, perhaps, homesickness was starting to kick in and showed their affection. They are so nice and quiet! The living room is full of light and very comfortable, as the rest of her flat, the kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is cosy and clean. I would come back over and over again and I strongly recommend it! If you are as lucky as me, you won't regret it and you will find yourself in a divine place in dreamy London! I envy you already!
Nice house and nice host. Esther is very helpful and ready to provide you with anything you may need. The area is quiet but very well connected - the Arsenal tube stop is just 5 minutes away by foot.
I had a lovely time in London staying at Esthers flat. The location of the flat was perfect for me; near to the supermarket and to the tube. Esther was always friendly and it was really nice chatting with her after a long day.
I had a wonderful stay with Esther! She is a great host, very friendly but will give you your own space during your stay. The flat is nice and in a great location, close to the tube so it's perfect if you need to easily get around the city, and in a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in London.
Friendly, respectful and full of information about the local area and London. I'm a chilled out host who lets guests get on with their holiday or stay in peace, but always available for a chat or a local pick up from station or info on getting around town or the area. Two cats live here too. Nice cats.
Five things I cannot live without are my MacBook Pro, my iPhone, poetry books and novels, fresh fruit and veg for juicing. I like the sights and sounds of London, particularly South Bank, theatre and spoken word poetry nights, the cinema and the parks. I love Kenya, Nairobi, Mombasa and the Masai Mara. I like Spain such as Barcelona, Madrid, Granada, the mountains of Andalusia and the Alpujarras. Ibiza's fun, even without the clubbing as the beaches are brilliant. I also like St Lucia, Guyana and New Zealand. Would love to travel to Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, New York, LA, maybe Miami, Tanzania, Thailand.
