Babette was lovely and very welcoming. A great place to stop after exploring the volcanoes. Accommodation is in great condition - light, airy and clean.
Babette's Oliana Cottage was completely charming. Chosen for its simplicity and nature driven simple approach....it more than lived up to my (email hidden)d exceeded them. Babette is personable, friendly and helpful in the most genuine and lovely way. I loved this 16 mile stretch of volcanic coast the Kapoho-Kalapana Road.....near adorable Pahoa --that the cottage is located near. Outdoor shower rocked....naturalistic lava scape punctuated with simple lovely landscaping....backed away from luscious tropical rain forest. Simple..lovely...relaxing. An unadulterated success. If the way things look is important to you...this is the place....lovely choices for visual and design driven people, clean lines and simple yet very island-Asian-Indian accessories.
Babette's cottage was really nice and clean. Located at the most beautiful side of the Big Island, close to black sand beach, tide pool and lava land. We really enjoyed our stay there.
This truly is a peacful paradise...we absolutely loved our stay.
The cottage is very bright, clean, well serviced with excellent amenities. It has been beautifully furnished, everything from the kitchenware, small couches, elephant/buddha/yogi decor, comfortable bed with soft linen and fresh flowers on arrival.
The bathroom had beautiful organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash and many clean towels for use. The outside shower is wonderful.
We also loved the tropical sounds at night. A combination of frogs and other insects croaking, very unique!
The vibe of the area is incredibly relaxing, feeling quite secluded and untouched. There are many hippies around, making for an extra relaxing vibe and fresh healthy organic food options. Kehana "clothing optional" beach is beautiful.
What a great stay in Hawaii! Babette's cottage is true to the photos and every bit as beautiful.
Cozy and relaxing we enjoyed our stay. Just to note, you are off the beaten path here so it is a drive to town or other areas to visit.
We had a great time at Babette's. Great location to volcano national park, among others. Cottage was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again
