Brought to you by mom-and-son superhosts, Rye & Dana Gage, the Cottage is fun and fresh, with a crisp black & white backdrop blended with warm wood tones and accents of bright poppy red. Unique handcrafted pieces, created by Rye (owner and Harp Design Co-trained woodworker), are featured throughout.

The Cottage is a two minute walk to Magnolia, The Findery, The Backyard — and a quick drive (or leisurely walk) to Baylor, the Brazos riverfront and Austin Avenue. Shop 'til you drop, then come home and cozy up around the firepit, fire up the grill, enjoy a glass of Poppy wine, stargaze in the hammock, gather for a meal on the patio, or play some ping pong on our handcrafted table! Poppy & Rye Cottage is the perfect little place to tuck away for your Waco getaway.

Guest access
Full access to the house, patio and private fenced backyard. There's also an optional backyard parking area for more vehicle privacy. Check yourself in with Schlage Smartlock keypad and one-touch lock as you leave each time. (No keys to keep track of!)

Other things to note
- Hot tubs are wonderful, but water is water. So use caution, especially with kids. 1) NEVER leave the hot tub lid off when not in use. 2) ALWAYS stay within arms reach of your kids. 3) BE CAREFUL if drinking — hot water and alcohol are NOT great dance partners.
- Potential for noise from live music on Friday & Saturday nights from an outdoor venue, The Backyard, a block over.

We are Dana & Rye, mom-and-son superhosts. In 2018, we took our homes down to the studs, then reimagined and restored them ourselves. A bit about us: Brett (dad) is a teacher, Dana (mom) runs a non-profit - The LV Project, and Riley (Rye) is a Baylor grad, home builder & woodworker. "Poppy" — our grandfather and inspiration — was a farmer, journalist, professor, & poet. His poems grace the walls of our homes. Making you happy makes us happy!
